My biggest problem with Bender's Big Score was how it seemed to completely mess up with the impeccably construed timeline the TV episodes crafted to perfection. It wasn't terrible by any means, but it left me with far more questions then I had after the last episode on TV.

What I'm liking so far about this show is that Fry and Leela TOTALLY GOING TO HOOK UP is such a minor part of the overall series it allows me to enjoy the humor without wondering what horrible plot device is going to get them together only to have them break up all Friends style. In fact that was why Amy and Fry hooking up was so hilarious to me, as well as the Chronotons episode I saw on TV once and remember vividly.
I suppose Matt Groening's cartoonism style is just inherently hilarious, because at any point he could replace a tertiary character with someone completely new and nobody would even notice. But instead he just has reoccurring ones pop up all over the place as Easter eggs. The cops are my favorite (Awwwww, yeah.) Simpsons taught him well, I think.

my fav. character
The Robot Devil and I are good friends. I've borrowed his hands before.
Also, the movies have been mediocre. Bender's BS was OK, and the Beast would have been better off not visiting, though a few lines were pretty good. In my opinion, of course.

Haven't seen Beast yet, but I gotta say, Bender's Big Score didn't do much for me. Sure, it had some good bits, but I felt like they had too much plot and not enough funny; more specifically, too much really weird plot. There was too much going on, and I honestly didn't care at all about these obnoxious naked alien antagonists. When watching it, I felt like I was sort of being dragged through this annoying plot to get between the good parts sprinkled around.
And it also weirds me that assuming Fry and Leela are the same age, by the time Fry was mature enough for Leela, he was twenty years older than her. |

Heh, I just realized you could call the movie, Bender's BS. BS as in... anywho. My only issue with it, continuity wise, that wasn't the first time people, audience included, saw Fry's naked bottom, so why wasn't it there before. Also where did it originally come from
While typing this I remembered one other. It really screws up things that happened while he was frozen like his brother and nephew, his old girlfriend. "I didn't know where you went, no one did" yet she was unfrozen when his duplicate was around and people knew where he was, not to mention Bender looking for him Quote:
My favorite in Futurama, probably, Scruffy, The Janitor. "Scruffy's gonna die the way he lived" as he is reading zero-G juggs

What part of paradox correcting time code don't you people understand?

you do relize that it does that by destroying the original, and it doesn't work for creating something from nothing

Paradox is created when an altered event prevents the future that allowed it to happen from happening.
Paradox correcting time code allows the time line to continue even when the events that create the time alteration do not occur. When dealing with this kind of time travel, you cannot think of time in a linear fashion or it doesn't work. In this kind of time travel, effects can occur before the events that cause them. My own personal interpretation is since fry's ass already contains the time code and lars is already in the future i can only assume that even when the movie begins the time code has already been discovered and used in some form of parrallel/alternate time line. Hence there entire timeline was doomed from the start, and thus the ending. It's not perfect, but it fits. Or if you don't want to subscribe to my theory, I pose a second theory. It was all just a question asked to the What If machine.
