I am not sure if there is 100% game compatibility with Offline Mode but it always worked for me. |

Well, I've bought games from Telltale Games and basically you just downloaded it, installed it, and then had to be connected to the internet to unlock it but after that you could be offline, or if you wanted to install it on a computer not hooked up to the internet you could request a manual unlock code, which was easy.
It looks pretty neat to me, anyway, though, and some of these games are so cheap that even if I could only play them while connected to the internet it would be well worth two dollars or what have you, so I'll probably look into using Steam in the near future.

The best part about Steam is that you can buy a game....and wait to install it later when you have hard drive space!
Woohoo! I needs me a new hard drive fo' christmas.

I decided last minute to share the consumerist spirit with some of my DnD friends and gave them all a $15 limit to get whatever they wanted on the Steam sale.
Then I broke down and got Tropico 3. I'm sure it'll be 99.7% off in 2 days. |

I got S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. Man, I've been checking and had I bought every Steam game I got so far outside of sales it'd have been US$80. But thanks to sales...US$24.50.

On the subject of Myst: I recently discovered that it is available for iPhone. I'm getting it ASAP. Now I'll have two full games on my iPod
