I was hoping the FoS Nikose for him not putting that on the first post of this thread meant that I was not really serious about that. I suppose I don't really understand the joke vote period of every game or how to make a joke vote/FoS look jokey.

I did read the post in the other thread though. I'm literally considering this game filler mafia. Which with 6 people, it kind of is. So shoddy production, but on the plus, people get interested for mafia. Which is a thumbs up for me.

I just want to say, careful with your joke votes. We only have 6 people. If Fenris is town, a mislynch because "Hey we all joke voted for him." seems like an awful way to start the game.

Hmmm, hindsight me thinks that with only 6 people, joke voting is something I probably shouldn't have done. Well at least it didn't end badly. Thanks to BahamutFlare for bringing that up.

The only thing that struck me as odd right now was Gregness felt the need to actually defend himself against that FoS. Personally I would've just let it slide and not mention it as I didn't think it warranted addressing. Hmmm

Also, I got nothing on anyone else. Bahamut seems friendly, which is never a good thing in Mafia, and Fenris is Fenris and I can never read the guy. And everyone else I can't pick anything up from.

Meh, around 2:30 is about the time I am at work and there is nothing to do. So yeah, I am always on at that moment and spotted Nikose's message he was putting up a thread, so just watched for a new one to appear. I didn't actually get a pm, I just happen to be on at the right time. That same logic train should also indicate Aldurin as well, as he was only 4 minutes from Nikose's post, which is about the time you would expect someone to spend reading a pm. Of course, that means there are two suspects using this train of thought, and I seriously doubt there are two mafiaties, as that means the game ends if we don't lynch a mafia right now. Therefore I don't think this line of thinking is going to be productive.

Instead, I think going after Gregness would be best. Mostly because not only did he chime in on the whole got no pm, but also that Nikose felt like he had to state that only mafiates got pms, but he stated that he said that in the sign-up thread, and people could be lying. I feel like he really felt that, so either Fenris or Gregness need to use that, and of the two I am willing think Gregness is it.

I really don't like the time stamp logic because as far as I can tell, that is stretching things. I do fall into line with IC's way of thinking. My original thing with Gregness was having to defend himself against an FoS. Did anyone really think that it was serious?

Although, it's not usual for me to see Fenris just vote with time left on the clock. And for a pretty flimsy reason.

Didn't even notice I was four minutes off from the first post, and I always check with the "Today's Posts" buttons so the whole quick reaction thing isn't exactly something hard to ride on since innocent and mafia could be that quick if they checked at the right time. But the way IC is defending it by deflecting suspicion away and giving a very non-logical reason for being so early. Not the action itself but the way he's reacting (am I overthinking it?).

It's very unusual for a mafia game to not PM everyone at the start, so the confusion seems justified around that part.
