About the Landsub
For absolutely no reason whatsoever, I am given to wonder if I am the only one who actually knows what class of submarine was used for the landsub pic. I am also given to wonder if I am the only one who cares. O_o
. . . My sources say "yes." Last edited by Urzu 6; 05-12-2005 at 08:58 AM. |

I believe it is a Ohio class (SSBN) submarine because (1) It doesn't have fair weather planes on the tower and (2) it is too long to be an improved Las Angeles class. It may also be a Russian model. I haven't ever seen a Russian sub, but this looks a lot like a SSBN.

I'm wondering what Sarda is going to do for the LWs? He seems to be implying that he's going to provide them transport? (That starts with a C? I created those sprites to be used after all...)
But I suppose he could just be talking about upgrading the characters. SWK

The original pic did that the thingies on the tower, but they didn't make it over into the comic panel when I copied it.

That was pure gold Brian! First, a cold fusion reator that worked was built before RM's, second: It was required to build the Space-copter which reined hell from the heavens upon the earth, then you throw in a land sub which is totally useless! Its a trifecta from comedy hell!

I apologize. A SSBN does have fair weather planes on the tower (or, for you nitpickers, the proper term is the "sail" for some reason). If Brian says that it did have the planes before he added the noise and blurs to it, I can say that the sub is most likely a Ohio class nuclear ballistic missile submarine. In this scenario, it's probably more of a silo than a sub, but those are the breaks when you build a land sub.

So the Space Helicoptor can rain destruction from the heavens. And if those really are the true life adventures of Brian and Sosa, that means...
