That's rather disturbing.
So you're saying Black Mage uses elves such as Thief to attract women, and then plunges said elves into said women?
Well, that's an interesting use for 'em.

No, it's Quid Quo Pro. I'm entirely sure of it.
But anyway, it's good to see Bahamut in a sprite form. I wasn't sure how much of anything useful could've been worked from the extremely large one...

if you want to be a short homocidal black mage, then it's quid quo pro, if you want to be wrong in the usual sense it's quid pro quo, but if you're tryign to say you proved something, then it's qed, or quid erat demonstratum or something along those lines.

Though it is apparently the title of someone's album.

black mage was having an argument with theif and redmage sometime around the period where they were talking about their team charter and black mage didn't pay attention to politics and when stabbed people to prove his point he would say quid quo pro, hence my previous comment.
edit: strip 291 to be exact, and they are debating the morality of totalarian rule and the suffering of the few yielding the happiness of the many.

It's still the same meaning when you Quo Quid pro, or pro Quo Quid, (well, maybe not on that last triplet might mean which what for, but i doubt it; god i haven't taken a latin class in so long,,,,)

While a judge should be benevolent in purpose, his awards should cause the criminal to suffer, else there is no punishment - and pain is the basic mechanism built into us by millions of years of evolution which safeguards us by warning when something threatens our survival. Why should society refuse to use such a highly perfected survival mechanism? However, that period was loaded with pre-scientific pseudo-psychological nonsense. The joke is that Black Mage was on the debate team and never lost because he always won by default, probably from killing the competetion. To hammer home the point that he is not good with debates, he proclaims "quid quo pro" whenever he "wins" an argument even though A) it is the wrong phrase and B) the words he uses aren't even in the order usually seen. He screws up his screw up while screwing up.
