Coin Flipped: We start on Night 1!

[Story]
A desperate storm has ravaged Provoka and brought in more than a hail of landsharks and clamzillas...PIRATES! Led by Bikke, pirates have infiltrated the town, but for some reason they don't seem to be doing too much Provoken...in fact, without the amusing hats and uniforms, they look just like regular Provokans. BUT, they ARE there, that's for sure...and since they can't just go around killing people in broad daylight, they're forced to work covertly at night. BUT, the Provokans have a secret up their sleeve too: recently they discovered a naught used law that says they can lynch whoever they want, assuming they have a majority of the vote for a specific person. Why such a specific and seemingly barbaric law? ON WITH THE GAME!

End Game:
Town wins when all Mafia members (mafiates) are lynched.
Mafia wins when they make up half of the game's population.

IT IS NOW NIGHT 1. PEOPLE WITH NIGHT ROLES PLEASE SEND THEM IN. DO NOT POST DURING THIS TIME.

EDIT: During the meantime however, here's some lingo you might consider using:
FoS - Finger Of Suspicion. For when a vote is too extreme but the person being FoS'ed is just a tad scummy.
Scummy - Mafia-esque. Mafia are scum, etc. For when typing mafia gets boring basically.

DAY 1 STARTS NOW!

As the Provokans exit their homes they are shocked to discover a body lying in the town's courtyard. Upon closer inspection they discover the body of GARUD, and while the town contains no confirmed autopsisians, the numerous cutlass gashes seem to indicate that multiple stabbing was the cause of death. Afer searching his body further you determine that he was a vanilla townie, town-aligned.

You glance uneasily at your fellow Provokans, any of them could be a member of the party that did this.

19 Participants Remain. 10 votes for one person (majority) and they are lynched. No Deadline...yet.

DISCUSSION MAY BEGINU!

(Also, as an aside to GARUD: I'm sorry you don't get to fully participate in the game this time. However, there may be more of these, and you are now an official member of the (now constructed) "Dead on Night One Club", where you are not only the sole member, but also the head! Don't totally discount the mafia game in general, there will be more chances for you to play.)

I tell ya, it's not safe to walk the streets anymore. Us Provokans don't need to put up with this nonsense. I say we track down who did this and make'em swing.

Sasuto walked to see a group of people surrounding in a giant throng, and decided to check out what was happening. he walked into the middle to a horrible sight... GARUD had died... and it was by stabbing too.... Ohh how could this be... he did not know when exactly it was commited.. but he knew that it was sometime during the night... but who would be out that late?

Newb awoke to the sounds of commotion, and walked outside to see GARUD dead. He had never much gotten along with the man, but he did not like to see anybody die.

"We are putting someone in prison over this, correct? Any clues, other than the stabbing?"

"I have a feeling we can rule out Black Mage, so the question is who doesn't like Garud in this town? Did he woin big last night at poker? Does anyone here have psychotic tendancies toward being a psychopath?"

NOTE: Roleplaying as your mafia 'character' is not required. This should not be construed as 'not allowed', merely that instead of creating an elaborate series of actions you can simply...say stuff. The 'story' is there to make this more personable (i.e., it gives me a forum to display different ways of death and such, otherwise I could just say "So and so died, discuss").

Also, I forgot to mention the required votes when I first posted, so that was edit-rectified: If one person garners ten votes, they will be lynched. Remember, bold your votes AND unvotes.

Raiden walked out of his house, saw the crowd gathered, and sighed. This was a small peaceful town. The only time people gathered like that was when something not good happened.

And when he arrived, he found out he was right.

Garud was dead. Stabbed to death. He knew Garud got a little obsessive sometimes, but never to the point where someone would want to kill him. He looked over at Inbred.

"More than that. We all know the law. It declares that should someone be murdered, we envoke the "Eye for an eye" statute. Which means, someone is going to hang for this."

Raiden sighed again. This could get out of hand. They had to make sure the right person was chosen. They didn't want to hang someone who didn't do anything. That was when he noticed Mantis digging through Garud's belongings.

"You. Why are you doing that?"
