SS, you weren't so great in Hitmen yourself... If I remember right (Which I am) you had your guy shooting several guards, then jump out a window and grab onto the thing window cleaners use, and shot swat team people as they looked out of the window to shot you with machine guns, never getting hit (Some of the items may be changed, but that is basic idea of it)

Well, the target was dead. No need for stealth.
Aww, come on. There's gotta' be more people that surf this forum than that!

... I won't comment on that situation...
I voted fantasy not because I don't like a good RP about thieving or RPs in a modern setting, but I really prefer a more fantasy/sci-fi setting to my RPs just because those are my favorite types of books. Also, I didn't like how Kill-switch was turning out was why I dropped out, and think that modern stealth is better suited for videogames who can concretely say whether a guard saw you or not than if the RPers decide. I just don't think stealth is well suited for an RP, and that if it was stealth in any setting, I probably wouldn't sign up. RPs seem to lend themselves better to an epic format, where you feel like a hero, or at least someone that has an impact on the world, and where you interact, fight, and adventure as a group on some grand goal that you CAN solve with stealth, but the focus is on getting by however necesssary. I'm not a very eloquent speaker, but just my view of the state of RPing in this forum, and my view on RPing in general.

SS, make it so in the fantasy RP, we have to use stealth or die, that way, you think us into doing your modern RP ideas, but in a fantasy setting.

I'm not so sure why stealth in a fantasy setting is better then stealth in a modern setting... I think I would actually prefer stealth in a modern setting if I had to pick...

I wanted a modern setting for Heist, because in Fantasy the thief is this lightning fast thing that drops around, runs impossibly fast to the chest, picks it effortlessly, grabs the loot, then escapes in a similar fashion.
Heist, and basically modern itself, ain't like that. People have to work together to get something done, and they're never perfectly undetected. And IHMN? The only reason you hate modern is because logic pertains to it. And the fact, that you know, your characters aren't the heroes of all existance.

I think the harlequin being an item would be the best course for the fantasy RP (which I voted for, since all modern RPs suck), since the "One of salvation and one of chaos would be bound together" line would make perfect sense for jamming a sword into a bad guys neck...

... Cause I hate logic... And I love the idea of our characters being heroes of all existance...
I never said I don't like modern, I just said that it always ends up dead after awhile, while fantasy has a chance to live If the good thing is an object, I doubt the evil one is a person... If good is an object, the bad is probably the pearl.

Actually, the Pearl (note the capital P) is a means to an end. It's not..well it is at the moment of the RP, innately evil.
It's like a battery. That fills up on dark magic and such, and can only feed out evil magic. Except when the Harlequin is used by the (Insert circus title here, because it'll need someone who can use it just for fun) to purge. Then it's a clean slate. So, the evil guy would be a guy who's pumped the Pearl full, so it can't stop him much anymore. Now he's just rippin' down spires, and ahnialating main capitals.
