this was funnier than "Riiiiiiiiiiiiiidge racer!"
Mostly because it's all true, meanwhile as "Ridge Racer" was merely repeat-repeat-repeat, and this had tons and tons of it's own paradoxes. I loved the constant references of "Never before" elements, followed by all of the overused stuff that people keep on doing. "Never before!" "Attack it's weak point...for massive...damage...." "What kind of muscle this machine REALLY has..." *rhino eating grass calmly*

Tell me, Bellsouth, since the Wii sucks so much, what does the PS3 have to offer? Why should I spend my $600 on it?

To be honest: The Sony PS3's graphics are amazing. They're awesome. They're great.
I don't need 'em. I would say that the PS2 or the Gamecube had the graphical ability that I'm content with, I don't need super-hyper-realistic game graphics, I -like- cartoony stuff. So... no $600 for Sony, some $200 for Nintendo.

YESH!
Can't we just have one Sony bashing thread? Please? This is starting to get tedious. And Bellsouth never said the Wii sucked. Least I didn't see it.

Because saying that aiming for something simple and quick, as well as family oriented reeks of contempt?
It's not really a lie, is it? I mean, they said that they wanted the Wii to be for everyone, and the best way to have an accessible game is make it quick, simple, and fun. Family-oriented games mean that more folks can buy them. The "This is what you guys play with the Wii" deal just seemed like a statement to me. Why should we even bash the systems? What's the point? It's not like someone just couldn't eventually own all three. Sony's making stupid moves, Nintendo's making smart ones, and Microsoft is porting PC games. That's about all it seems like to me. We could speculate on how pricing and launch titles are going to initially help or hinder the systems. I think that'd be a lot more interesting. |

Why does everyone think the Wii is going to come up for $200?
I'm predicting $300 at least...$400 more likely, if just so they can say "It's still cheaper than the PS3 LOL!!!" And, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Its not the consoles that win or lose the war, it's the games. If it went strictly by consoles, then the Xbox would of dominated the last generation as it was the most powerful. However, the PS2 had the biggest library, and as such, the most consoles. I'll wait a few years, then see who has the biggest library of games I want, and then decide. In the meanwhile, I must agree that bashing the PS3 is getting old...almost as old as all the "play with my Wii" jokes and the like.

I didn't mean for this to become a flat-out Sony bashing thread. I just wanted people to see this very funny video I found on YouTube. =/ Not that I shouldn't have seen it coming or anything.

::shrugs:: It's a fickle thing.
Remember how everyone was anti-Nintendo when they announced the name change from Revolution to Wii?
