Yeah, adamark, Adderall makes for interesting all-nighter stories.
Once you hit about the 36-hour-mark without sleep, hallucinations set in. Mild, of course. Mostly, the dogs barking next door sounded like they were talking. It was unsettling. Also, things that were, in fact, not moving, appeared to be slithering, squirming, etc. As to studies -- I had to read "A Seperate Peace" and write what ultimately turned out to be 12 double-spaced pages of work on it. By the next day I took an Adderall XR pill, opened the book (which I hadn't started, of course) at 6 PM, and finished all my work/the book at about 6 AM. Went to bed for an hour, got up, took another pill, went to school. It was bitchin'. |

One all nighter story: I was on the way to Indianapolis, on a bus. Everyone else was sleeping. What to do? If I do anything loud, I will become the target of the collective rage of everyone on the bus, yet I have ADD, and my meds were wearing off. So I sacrificed a goat to my dark gods and played Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six for the Gameboy Color (seriously: I never knew they had one for the GBC either).
