War Incarnate
|
School: I always hated art. I don't have a single artistic bone in my body and I frankly couldn't give a shit about those lessons. It became somewhat of a free period because no work ever got done and we'd all just be messing around for an hour.
Games: Monks, or their equivilant healers there-of. I cannot heal! I'm utterly useless at it and prefer to hit things until they die. And whats everyone got against rangers? Rangers are some of the best anti-tank classes out there, capable of inflicting such effects as crippling, poison, and burning on enemies all at once, at least on Guild wars. A warrior running around at half his normal speed with massive health degeneration isn't going to be able to last very long at all.

My least favorite game class would be a Theif from the early FF games. It was so annoying to have that as a player. They couldn't hit worth shit, died easily and half the time couldn't steal anything.
My least favorite has to have been figure drawing. Now, I love art, I love making it and looking at it. Unfortunately the teacher was a total dick who believed that they were the all knowing and seeing when it came to art. She screwed a lot of good artists over in their program, just because they disagreed with her philosophically. It had nothing to do with their artistic capabilities. |

Least favorite school class: Calculus. Blech. I rocked all my math classes until I hit Calculus, which made a habit of beating me senseless from the get-go. Argh.
Least favorite game class: I usually end up disliking anything called a Monk, however it may work in a game. Examples: FF1's Monk/Blackbelt kicks ass, but does so without any equipment. If I do give him equipment, it weakens him, so he has to go without status protection and such. Another example: Ragnarok Online's Monk class has skills that only work if he chains them together, so he has to get his timing right, which is hard if he's built the way I usually build my RO characters. If he doesn't bother with the chained skills, he's just a melee fighter with Acolyte spells.

School: I used to hate history, but my professor this year has changed that. So now I have to say I absolutely dislike english. I haven't had a good english class/teacher in so many years. I'm not LEARNING anything in these english classes, all we're doing is writing paper after paper and being told what we're doing wrong (but nothing is done to teach us any new writing styles or techniques.
Gaming: Hmm Blue Mage. I just never got the hang of that type of class.

MY least favorite class has to be Digital Logic. I mean, 1 + 1 = 10? That's not the worst of it. They even changed the sign's meanings, so that * is AND, + is OR and various other things which make me mad at all engineers ever. My least favorite game class is the warrior/fighter. I NEED spells.

Metaphysics... See, in college I took philosophy as my minor, but as it happens I kept putting off the dreaded 300 level right up until the end.
And metaphysics was the only open course. The worst part? Aside from remembering that I hated it with a passion, I can't remember a damn thing about the course. Well I suppose I vague remember the ship/part discussion, except using mind transfer & teleportation as the crux of this discussion, but otherwise nothing... As for character class? Cleric, easy. They've got mediocre spells, and they're big stupid heads. SWB

my least favorite class types were always the "useless time wasters" such as health class and gym class. I can figure out how to brush my teeth and run a mile without government funded education very much. In college I don't much care for the gnereal education crap that has nothing to do with my major, if only because I feel it's a waste of money and effort.
as far as game classes go, I never liked the dedicated offensive magic user. Sure they can dish out horrendous damage all at once, but what's the point when you get bitch slapped by some form of slime or other such lesser beast? If they can't lay down at least a little bit of physical smackdown, I despise them. |

I am so inspired by the words below
|
Ill chip in
I. HATE. ART APPPRECIATION. I am very artistic, but that stupid new "art appreciation" crap is horrible. For our exam( we have trimesters) this year, we had to memorize 10 time periods, 30 art things for each, 60 artists, and a whole bunch of other crap. Game, I hated the peguses riders in Fire Emblem. They were extremely suceptible to arrows and any other physical attack. They were supposed to be strong against magic, but they weren't too much more so. Just to tell you, favorite class would be the dragoons from FF3 DS. They had incredible defense, attack, speed, accuracy, and had an aawesome skill.

Probably a tie between...actually no, screw it, nothing could tie: Philosophical Issues In Women's Studies. Fuck you, Barahad, fuck you for recommending we take that course.
Class? Eh, I suppose the one that immediately comes to mind is the Calculator from FFT. I refuse to use a class called a CALCULATOR, regardless of their overpoweredness. In the broader D&D scope, bards. Why? It needs no explanation. |

Schoolins: I generally liked all my classes, but the one that I slept the most in, not out of hatred or such, was Social Studies. The highschool I went to had no advanced placement for that class so the teacher would just give me my paper, I'd finish it lickity-split, and take a nap. He didn't care because I wasn't disturbing anybody and if nobody else knew the answer I'd just ramble off something. Anywho.
Gamin: gonna have to go with Funka Genocide's opinion about frail magic users on this one. Last edited by Grandmaster_Skweeb; 12-18-2006 at 08:13 AM. |
