NAME: FenrisWolf, Fenris for short.
COMPETING?: Why the hell not! CLASS: Hobo Moderator APPEARANCE: 6', purple sweater, tan skin, blue jeans, brown boots, blue eyes, brown hair. Medium build. WEAPON-BASED POWER?: Mod powers which work only in NPF, while it is the user that has the ability to use them, having the ability to perform the action comes from his banstick. Meaning that other forumites won't be able to use the mod powers if they grab the banstick, but it will prevent Fenris from using them too. He probably won't use them. ABILITIES: Meatshield: Fenris has a high defense, it takes a few more hits to bring him down. Strength of a slightly stronger individual: Fenris is stronger than most. Rapier wit: Fenris uses his mind to get out of most traps and situations. Modhood: See the Mod Abilities section. All Modhood abilities only work inside of NPF, and can only be used if Fenris is holding his banstick. I've got a goddamn Mafia goin' on: Fenris has friends in all the right places. From the mod staff to POS Industries and PhoenixFlame, Nikose, his various Chat buddies, and the Comic-making crew, Fenris's friends are everywhere. They may or may not always be watching. Mod Abilities: Banning: Insta-kill. Rarely, if ever, uses. Thread Moving: This is his favorite use of the banstick. He can move rooms, either by teleportation or by locomotion. He can either use them as a weapon or a defense, or a mode of transport. Thread Editting: He can edit the contents of rooms, either by adding stairs or whatnot. Thread Opening/Closing: He may open locks and lock doors. These locks can either keep everybody out and let those inside influence the contents within, or keep nobody out and only let a mod-type influence contents within. I see you: Fenris can see invisible members. Mod Forum: Fenris can enter the Mod forum, and can thus grab some of the horrors contained within. He can use it as a sort of "home-base" despite the fact that they still haven't given him his own room yet. ITEM SUBMISSION: Boomerhammer. Like the Wind Edge, except not as cool. However, it can be used to break rocks and other solid objects. Also, I'd like to put the Über-longknife in too. A knife that can extend to any length. POS, put them in seperately or as a group. Preferably as a group, as they're fairly weak weapons individually.

NAME:Nikose Isaias Tyris
COMPETING?: Yes, because Fenris signed me up and left me under the impression we were going to the hat show. CLASS: Elemental Soulshaping MindMage. I guess. Maybe. APPEARANCE: WEAPON-BASED POWER?: Nenyel is my only weapon. Summary of what the fuck this means in the Nenyel Section. Nenyel: WHAT DO YOU KNOW THAT SECTION IS RIGHT HERE: Nenyel: Nenyel is of a race of beings from another world, not connected to our own. She was a paragon of her people, as each was an elementally aspected changling. Her paragonism was that she did not have an alignment, but was rather a reflection of Good, Evil, or Neutrality. Every 3,000 years, her people must feed on their alignment- For Nenyel, this means devouring Distilled Joy, Essence of LIfe, or Pure Hate. Nenyel may shapehshift into any weapon form, but disdains being used for mundane means, and is also incredibly jealous. She will not allow Nikose to use other weapons. She also demands that Nikose never allow her to touch the ground, nor will she suffer another hand to touch her. Nenyel demands to be treated like a princess, but is feircely loyal in return. If shattered, broken, or injured in any way, she liquifies and returns to her original state. She may also operate independantly of Nikose, But Rarely does so. More often (and for the purpose of this game, always) aligns herself to Nikose's Mind, and becomes any form he currently desires in a weapon. ABILITIES: Electrical in Nature: Nikose's Body has a high electrical charge- he can discharge and channel electricity harmlessly. He can only control it to a point, however- He operates as a DC current that fluxes often, making it impossible for him to operate electrical machinery. This electricty often takes the form of lightning bolt attacks. Shadow, Light's younger brother: Nikose holds some sway over Shadows- nikose can shape shadows into semi-real objects, which do not operate in direct light or total darkness. Most often this is used to create a bed or hammock for sleeping in the shade, but can also be shaped into a weapon over short distances, regardless of amount of light. If Nikose allowed himself the use of other weapons, then he could potentially create arrows to strike people with. As it is, he uses the shadows to augment his lightning bolts, to stifle the light that they produce. Mastery of one's Infallible Soul: Nikose has mastered his own soul, at the loss of some of his own sanity. His soul is involitable. He is pure in mind and cannot comprehend evil being a real thing. He beleives that people who do bad things will always turn back to goodness. The only positive by-product of this is that Nikose cannot be mind controlled, or tainted with evil or disease- his utter purity of thought protects him from the darkness outside. The Soul shines brighter than the body: Nikose's soul allows him to regenerate at a swift rate. Any wound struck upon him will hurt, cause pain, and naseau. Nikose is no more able to withstand pain than a normal teenage boy. in fact, he's considerably less able than that. However, His soul restores his broken and shattered body after every blow finishes. Nikose has also stopped aging and having his body degrade, leaving him in a permanent state of being 21. His Physical body is involitable from this. Summary: Lightning, Shadow, Immunity to Compulsion (But not charm!) And Regeneration. ITEM SUBMISSION: Nikose's Hat: Nikose is still convinced this is the hat show. He submitted his hat to be judged. Nikose's hat has no magical powers at all. It is just a hat. EDIT: Also, I need to request that under no circumstances do Nikose and Fenris fight. it would go EXACTLY like this: Fenris: "Nik, let's not fight and just declare it a draw." Nikose: "Okay! Hey, POS, we're gonna-" Fenris: *pushes Nikose out of the ring for a ring out* Nikose: ...you must have tripped.

Name: Sgt. Geoff Demetrius, the Slightly Unhinged
Competing: Aye! Class: Madman, Bizarro Helper, Seargent, Xaos Incarnate! Appearance: Demetrius stands 5'10" tall, weighs in at 235lbs, has brown hair and green eyes. His eyes are slightly sunken and his brow is often furrowed with the puzzles that only he can perceive. To most he gives a sense of unease, this could be due to his occasional drooling and tendancy to do things the complete wrong way, just for fun. Weapon-Based Power: He uses happy! Abilities: Create plot hole: Demetrius occasionally ignores occurances so well that they simply cease to have happened, though onlookers still remember them. Confusion of Illogical Prepositionary Annulmentisses: If successfully allowed to start a rant Demetrius often leaves everyone confused as to what the hell was going on, himself as well. Immortal Chaos: Once whilst playing D&D with Loki, Demetrius became distracted by several shiny stones laid out in a circle, and ignoring common sense as per I'll try it this way because it'll be more fun! and the fact that Loki was around he broke the circle and became an avatar of the elder god of Xaos (Father of Chaos and Order). This makes him pretty much immortal, unless it would be better for him not to be... I'll try it this way because it'll be more fun! Demetrius can look at a situation and immediatly figure out the most complicated, convoluted way to accomplish a given task, whether or not he actually has the skills to accomplish the deed doesn't stop him from trying. God modded: Bringing crazy back, not always so good for himself. The effect of any attack on him is relatively random, Xaos doesn't like him very much, but is bound to Demetrius, so he keeps him alive, not just in one piece or his original form. For in game play this means a random person in the game will be PMed by myself and will get the opportunity to say what happens to Demetrius, generally resulting in a more humorous or embarassing situation for him. Item Submission: A deck of many things. That's right, straight outta the 3.5 DMG! and or... Edge of Dawn, Burst of Twilight These twin blades, wielded by Chaos and Order when they sealed Xaos away, must be used as a set, otherwise the balance of powers that allow them to be used is upset and bad, bad things happen. These blades grant the wielder great power and resistances to just about everything, just your personality becomes a duality and you channel Chaos and Order, yeah the gods... NAME: PhoenixFlame COMPETING?: No. Exposing self to personal risk, co-hosting the melee with Pedro O'Sullivan CLASS: Technomage APPEARANCE: Red haired, blue eyed female wearing a suit of snazzy red/blue/orange unencumbering microweave fibre armor in the PhoenixCorp color scheme. WEAPON-BASED POWER?: Yes, if for some reason she's convinced to fight in the arena instead of her champion. ABILITIES: Besides the control of the vast resources of the PhoenixCorp company... Technomagic: The ability to command a colony of millions of microscopic replicator nanites from a wrist-mounted computer, essentially allowing her to use all schools of traditional "magic", via technological "cheater-magic". Unlike normal mages, she is not so fragile, nor is she helpless. The Technocracy maintains several schools of esoteric martial arts involving the body and the machine as one. Nirakaran Gate: A protoculture device mounted aboard the ECS Isparlian, the Nirakaran Gate (Shortened, N-G System) allows Phoenix to temporarially re-weave a second physical form atop her real one, allowing her to use a new set of powers in exchange for losing her current ones. If "Killed" during such a transformation, she reverts back to her normal state (albeit stunned.) ((Second entry is more of a Player one)) NAME: PX-05 Phoenixbot COMPETING?: Yes, in accordance with direct orders. CLASS: Combat-Model Android APPEARANCE: Exactly like Phoenix in hair (though fibre-optic and shinier) and facial style, but the upgraded PX-05 is more obviously robotic. A metallic "headset"-style comm device is affixed to her right ear, and her body is host to various markings and other obviously synthetic bits. WEAPON-BASED POWER?: Yes, most certainly. ABILITIES: I, Robot: Being an android, Phoenixbot is naturally immune to most attacks that affect living beings. Notably, soul attacks, poison attacks, crippling attacks, and disease attacks. Additionally, her non-meatbag body configuration is far more resilient to damage. State of the art servomotors and powering systems afford the PX-05 with prodigious physical strength. Variable Armature: The PX-05's internal weapons systems were removed for a set of VX-01 nanovariable arm systems, allowing Phoenixbot to reconfigure her left or right arm into almost any concievable melee weapon, and some ranged weapons. Vernier Thrusters: The PX-05 includes a set of deployable Vernier Thrusters for maneuvering in space. On the ground, this gives her a limited flight ability when not carrying heavy weapons. Robotic Counter-Measures: Anti-robotics attacks including, but not limited to, ECM, Tight Stream EMP, and Memory Reprogramming. These attacks are not nearly as effective as ones that Phoenix herself could use, but they suffice for most anti-machine combat. ITEM SUBMISSION: Alpha High Energy Plasma Thrower [A-HEPT]: A micronized version of a starfighter plasma bolter, the Alpha Hept is still quite large and cumbersome by infantry standards, weighing a crippling one hundred and twenty pounds, and sizing in at six feet long. Though it's capacitor only holds enough charge for seven full-power shots, the Alpha Hept is sure to obliterate any target smaller than a truck with a single well-placed shot.

Name: Ugainius the Unheard Of Competing? Yes, yes I am Class: Dark Knight/Token Newb Appearance: 7'0 and covered in armor which an observany eye will notice was made in Ireland. He has a cloak which serves no other purpose other than to distinguish his class as Dark Knight rather than an ordinary one. Weapon-Based Power: His sword The Slightly More-Powerful One is said to be Slightly more powerful than an ordinary sword. Ugainius denies this with a vengeance, claiming that its name refers to, and I quote, "something different, real different." Abilities: Obscure Factification: Ugainius will begin a long-winded yarn about some incredibly boring and obscure fact which can do severe Brain-damage to his opponent, however it usually results in his opponent falling asleep after a few hours of monotoned voice. Over-sight: Being tall Ugainius can see farther than most people can. Though this also has the negative affect of him getting hurt in small spaces. Unheard Of: As most people don't know who he is, they tend to underestimate him (which is kinda strange seeing as he's a tall fucker) Mad with Success: Give UG power, success or anything that will remotely increase his ego and he will become quite vicious. The more you give the worse he gets and it eventually leads to him becoming somewhat insane (a more evil insane than Dem, but it still works out). Luck of the Irish: Ugainius is Irish and because of this he is lucky. This means that he can sometimes avoid attacks which others think will hit him with ease. Armour of Annoyingly High Defence: UG, keeping with stereotypical Dark Knight mannerisms, has armour which gives him a high defence (added so I have a slight chance of survival) Item Submission: Theres his cloak, it does nothing but it does make him look like the mad guy in some weird fantasy world. He also has a collection of scalps which he attempts to sell to anyone he doesn't know

Everyone's approved with two minor twinges to work out before I give the go-ahead, both dealing with the weapon-based power application.
Demetrius: From what it looks like, I don't think that your powers are necessarily based around the usage of those blades, unless you want to explain further as to why you absolutely need them to fight. Ugainius: I'm assuming your Dark Knight powers require you to have a sword, but I'll need confirmation from you on that. Both of you let me know so we can work it out and I can officially let you in.

Ok, I'll move them to my item submission. For more info they are part of the whole backstory on Demetrius losing to Xaos and getting dragged into the battle over the ascencion of new gods (A DnD campaign that crossed over from AD&D to 3ED and into Epic, DMed by Loki).

Name: Armored Bishoujo Competing?: Yes Class: Fanservice Battler Appearance: Depends on whether AB is transformed or not. Armored Bishoujo's original form has blue hair and red eyes. She wears gold colored armor for the torso and shoulders and well as having fingerless gaunlets and boots. Her right gauntlet and boot have red gems while the left gauntlet and boot have blue gems. Underneath the armor, she wears a dark green cotton robe and a white cloth bodysuit underneath the robe which also leaves her fingers bare. She also has a large hairbow that matches the robe with a trim that matches the armor. Her weapon is the Slashing Shard, a longsword with a metal alloy blade that is light, durable, immune the rust, and effective against the wielder's doppelgangers. In her transformed state (which she personally calls Killzone the Katgirl), AB's hair is silver, her left eye is gold and her right eye is pink. She wears a violet shoulder guard and a black leather jacket and black fingerless gloves, violet denim pants and black boots. The hair ornament resembles a shuriken with long blades. Also features cat ears and a tail. This form wields the Grammitron Edge, a dualblade weapon that is heavy, huge, and unwieldly to the point of being ridiculous. It takes someone of considerable strength and stamina to use it for a considerable duration. There's a link to their 16-bit sprites in my signature (it was broken a while back, but I think I've fixed it) Weapon-Based Power?: Both weapons are capable of long range crescent wave attacks. They're no more powerful than average attacks, making the fact that they can hit distant targets the only point. Abilities: Summon Swordyan - Immediately hot drops a pilot-controlled mechanized war machine that AB automatically enters. While her Swordyan (named Pinnacle) is fully customizeable, AB heavily gravitates towards photon swords and lances, machine guns, gatling guns, laser cannons, gauss rifles, autocannons, SRMs...just anything with a high rate of fire or high penetration. She's not very accurate for a pilot and doesn't prefer explosives so her mecha will rarely carry anything like a sniper rifle or rocket gun. And the more legs, the better so expect the mecha to have six or four-leg configurations. There's also a booster, but it's used more or less to increase the ground speed instead of going airborne. Cosplay Transform - AB's guantlets and boots contain gems that allow her to transform into numerous cosplays as well as providing special powers that come with those cosplays. This ability isn't particularly powerful and only serves to give AB a considerable versatility. See below for a list of cosplays and their associated powers. Killzone Transform - When AB's temperament goes over its limit, she uncontiously transforms into the silver-haired Killzone the Katgirl, wielding the massive Grammitron Edge and fighting like a crazed berserker. Killzone, like the original form, has no magic but features considerable strength, stamina, and unyielding rage. Killzone cannot pilot the Swordyan nor can she use cosplay powers as she doesn't have the patience or the equipment. Item Submission: Beautiful Uniform Terrestrial Transformation Setup Emphasizing Cosplays for Killing Stuff (BUTTSECKS) - Armored Bishoujo still hasn't bothered to fix or destroy the machine that came up with this name for her guantlets and boots that grant the cosplay powers. Regardless, those with more magical power than AB (which basically is nothing at all) will be able to utizile cosplay powers better than she can. Cosplay Transformation List Armored Maiden - Uses a sword and shield with unparalleled skill and is high in attack and defense. Body Builder - This cosplay is all about raw strength, so pick something up and throw it at your opponent! Bunny Girl - Capable of powerful or very rapid kicks and great at jumping. Cheerleader - Renews vigor in the one cheered for, increasing one's abilities throughout. Kinda useless when trying to cheer for yourself 'cause it doesn't work. Dancing Idol - So skilled at dancing that she adds kicking butt to the mix. An agile cosplay with deceptive movement. She can deflect small physical objects coming at her when she spins rapidly, like bullets. Hooded Cultist - Comes with a flamberge and a kris. Capable of using debilitating sorcery and can summon minor demons with sacrifices. Jill of the Jungle - Good with a spear. Can communicate with jungle animals. Mecha Girl - Laser eye beams, nyo! And how about knee missiles? And the melee attacks pack quite a whallop. Mermaid - Unmatched underwater speed and no need to surface for air. Offers boosts to your / resistances to the enemies water attacks. Ninja - Throw shurikens, inflict great damage when attacking from behind, and use the Kawamiri no Jutsu technique to replace yourself with a section of log to avoid an attack. Nun - Has the powers to bless characters with increased damage potential of all kinds or resistance to damage of all kinds. Nurse - Healing, benefitial status effects, and cures to negative status effects. Pirate - Good with cutlasses, guns, and cannons. Watch out for the blade hidden the wooden leg. Pop Idol - Sing some songs which can put people to sleep, make them dance, or renew their morale. Rockin' Out - Capable of ear-splitting electric guitar solos that can ruin concentration and just make a lot of noise. Rogue - Steals money, picks pockets, and hides in shadows. Good with daggers, whether swinging them or throwing them. S&M Queen - Kinky. Features black leather, whips, chains, hot wax from burning candles, and other unpleasantries unless you're in that kind of thing. Schoolgirl - Whack your enemies silly with a kendo sword, slap 'em silly with your bare hands, or just send them beyond the horizon with a powerful (and disturbing) kancho assassin attack. Shirt'd (or Towel'd) - Use fast and furious martial arts while wearing a men's dress shirt or a bath towel. Think of this form as a martial arts cosplay. Shrine Maiden - Has the powers to damage, debilitate, or banish evil spirits. Soldier - Comes complete with M-16 A2, fragmentation grenades, and quite a bit of stamina. Succubus - Can put the opposite sex in a trance with seduction, and can do quite a bit of fire-elemental hurt with the Diablo Dust spell. Is also resistant to fire and darkness based spells. I'll try thinking of additional cosplays to put here if the whole cosplay thing is allowed in the first place. I just thought it was a good idea. |

Demetrius is approved and AB is cool as long as you don't use the mecha in the tournament. Fights outside the competition are totally cool, though. Regarding your item submission, however....
