Fighter continues to make "clank" noises until BM revives, then Fighter gets distracted, Lich gets a lucky shot, Fighter goes down. BM says something about killing his shield, and Hadokens Lich. Fighter realizises he's wearing armor, so Lich's bone-club didn't actually hurt him. Lich, being undead, gathers his bones like all of the bone-bad guys do so predictably. RM reads a player's guide and finds undead are weak to holy, BM doesn't have Holy, just spells that make people holey. Enter WM who solves the problem instantly, followed by staring and WM saying, "What?" Finally, BM makes a crude pick-up line, WM wishes revive worked on undead.

Ok that was a little long, sorry about that. I had an idea and I had to go with it.
I'm cynical as hell but your idea is impressively realistic! The holey instead of holy thing is TOTALLY BM! I hope Brian reads this post 'cause DAMN your ideas are good! I mean it's so realistic and in character.

Hold Everything!

Does anybody remember the deamon from Episode 165? Maybe BM will meet up with him again. After all, he IS a hell demon.

I heard a scientific statement that disproves Hell, let's see if I can rememeber most of it. It dealt with the volume, pressure, and temperature of gasses and that sort of stuff.

Now here's what I remember, souls (gas) are constantly entering Hell, and none are leaving because they just don't. Therefore, if the volume of Hell were to stay the same, the pressure would increase from the added pressure that souls cause. However, if Hell increased in volume by too much, the pressure would drop to a point where Hell would literally freeze over, like freeze-dried food. Assuming Hell doesn't expand, the pressure from over 2000 years of souls would make Hell as hot as Hell (pun intended).

I still stand by my "BM possesses either Fighter or Lich" idea.

hrrrrrrrrmm I can see him possessing Lich. But possessing fighter would be an ironic twist.

Exactly. So ironic that it's funny. BM posessing fighter would bring up a whole bunch of interesting options. He could get fighter to do all sorts of painfull things to himself and even make him suicide. But right when he's about to kill himself, Thief uses a phoenix down that he "borrowed" from somebody on BM's body so that BM comes back to life, and fighter doesn't get killed. BM gets pissed and fires a FIR3 at Thief because he was about to kill fighter. Thief dodges and the spell hits Lich. Fire spells are deadly to the undead (kinda ironic huh? Deadly to the undead?) and Lich dies. RM has been facing the other way the whole time turns around and casts LIF2 on BM (who is already alive). RM starts searching his handbooks. WM and BB come along. BM does a pick-up line. Gets hammered (back to hell maybe?) If he goes to hell again WM heals him. If not, she congradulates the LW on a good victory. RM declares he found a rule in the D&D handbook that states that any wasted spells shall be regenerated (I know there isn't a such rule).

Sorry about the long post.

Of course this is all assuming that souls are made out of anything at all. If you believe the way I believe, souls aren't made of gas (or any form of matter for that...uh, matter). You are also thinking using human logic. In the afterlife, things don't have to have mass or take up space. And even if souls are mad of gas, I'm pretty sure that if [insert deity here] wants to bend the rules of physics, he can. Considering he's all powerful and stuff.

Actually, now that I think of it, that's pretty dumb, thinking souls are made of gas. So technically, you could fill a balloon with a soul? Where'd you find that info?

Right... I still remember the subtitle Brian used to have for the 8bt comic... if you've been around that long try to remember... this is not yet the end, it is merely the beginning

I have a feeling that I know why Brian is hurting (fighter, thief, and red mage), killing (black mage), and hardening (white mage and black belt) the characters. He's trying to worry the readers. Every good comic writer tries to hurt/endanger the characters and wait for the reader's reactions to see how people see that character or to find out if said character is over/underdeveloped. In "Peanuts" Charlie Brown had to go to the hospital, In "FoxTrot" Jason had to get stitches. In "Get Fuzzy" Buck lost his lucky tooth and Satchel Broke his arm, in "Garfield" Garfield was lost for two whole weeks. The bottom line is: the characters always survive. Brian wants to know just how important the characters are to us (namely BM), so he's huting'em.
