I didn't get into Pirates of Dark water til I was almost 10, but Dino-Riders and TMNT were the shit, and they had the best toys of all time, too.
There was also that show with the cars that turned into things that weren't cars, but I've forgotten the name All I remember is, the leader good guy's Ferrari turned into a fighter jet when the gull wing doors were open. A little help please? |

Oh my god. You guys have named shows I forgot existed. And some I never heard of. But the ones I heard of I remember liking.
I remember liking a show on ABC about Sonic the Hedgehog, and that there was another one on Fox about the same time that was more cartoony. I didn't like the one on Fox, but I didn't really get the one on ABC. It didn't last long, I remember that. Double Dare. And Family Double Dare. I loved the obstacle course at the end. |

Just reminiscing today about Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and Freakazoid. Its a damn shame. Animaniacs is hard to find at any time when I have access to a TV (i.e. not at school or asleep), I don't know where to find Pinky and the Brain, and Freakazoid has disappeared intirely, without even a complete liberary of episodes to be released on DVD for future generations.

The one w/ the Cars that could fly & a Helicoptor that transformed into a Jet was M.A.S.K., and don't ask me what that standed for. Each of the characters had a special helmet that could do things, and a vehicle that also could do some neat stuff.
It also had a very annoying trash can of a robot that turned into a scooter type thing. As for shows to remember, I have a personal fondness for 'You Can't do that on Television'. Partially because I found it halarious at the time, and partially because it annoyed my mom. Sky Warrior Bob

does anyone remeber Cadillacs and Dinosaurs? it was set in the future when everyone drove fusion powered Cadillacs, but the world was covered in jungle. that was where the Dinosaurs lived. anyway, the art style invoked all those old detective comics, and i seem to remember it was pretty good.
no huh? well what about the Centurians? i think i had every centurian toy that ever came out. looking back, their weapons were held onto their bodys by what would have been 8" nails. what a grusome idea... |

There's three old shows I find myself missing quite a bit.
1. Darkwing Duck. Coolest themesong ever! The show was always at it's best with Darkwing Duck facing off against Negaduck. 2. Mighty Max. Don't ask my why I liked this show. Something about empathizing with Max's role. 3. The Terrible Thunder Lizards. Something about having cool dinosaurs trying the eliminate the scourage of hummanity to save dinokind and failing repetedly due to dumb luck.

Oh my god, I can't beleive I forgot Rainbow Bright! That also made me remember My Little Pony. I watched lots of girly stuff like that until I was told that liking such things made me sissy. Actually, I still did watch that stuff, I just either pretended that I wasn't watching them and that hated them, which was especially true of Sailor Moon. Oh how I obsessed I was with that show...
I also loved Captain Planet. It made a complete hippy of me; I remember when how when I was like 5 or something I ran around the neighbourhood picking up garbage and stuffing it in a plastic bag. We need more eco-propoganda films to brainwash children. |

I liked Captain Planet, but mostly because i wanted a bunch of rings that controlled the elements, except that crappy heart ring, that was only good for making people like you until you could torch 'em!
