Yeah, if you buy that upgrade for your sword from Naomi that lets you see hidden treasures, the Balls are a darker color on the big map in the menu. But really, you can find damn near most of them by just running through residential areas and listening for the faint tingles of the godly chorus that seems to haunt these balls.
