I still think it was a colossal waste of cash, but seeing as I'm usually supertastically frugal with my money (I'd even say cheap), this is the only waste of cash I have on the list. And damnit I like them.
Actually, those ARE pretty kick ass. And if it were me, I think I'd get a quality leather-worker, maybe a Leather-jacket shop to build a sturdy leather glove for them, and make something really kick ass :P

edit: I can see why now, Khael!, your arm is stuck in a vending machine, with THOSE things on. haha!

That was exactly my plan, to modify a leather glove for those. But I figured I'd best take a break on the spendin'. Plus I need my current pair of gloves for winter.

EDIT: Haha, I hadn't even thought of that!

Cati will become famous soon enough. Eventually. Maybe.

It sounds like too much for me. My friend paid $30 for hers off of eBay, and it works just fine. Even got two games with it.

I couldn't say for sure though; my two NESs are hand-me-downs from my brothers. Still freaking awesome though.

Then yes.
You would be correct, seeing as the NES has been out of production for a good 20 years or more...

Actually, the NES was discontinued in 1995. I was surprised since the SNES started in 1990, and I didn't think the two systems were running basically against eachother...
As for the rest of it, well, his system, from a collectors stand point has really no value, unlike, say an all original 1969 Dodge Charger for a quarter million dollars. (drool).

That isnt new, a new NES is a UN opened on in its box. It matters not how it works. And I'm seriously doubting you have All those games unopened.

Sooo, considering the collectors value of those things are ruined, your closet is worth about as much as mine...

However, I win b/c I have two closets.

Keep in mind tho, that there are a few NES (and SNES) carts that, even opened, and even some without box or instructions, fetch a pretty penny.
For example, either of the two Zelda carts for the NES with a working battery at this point can snag a decent amount of money, and for the SNES, as I hear told from a few vintage game dealers, the Final Fantasy 3 cart sans box, instructions, can run a good 100-150 bucks!!
