That was exactly my plan, to modify a leather glove for those. But I figured I'd best take a break on the spendin'. Plus I need my current pair of gloves for winter.
EDIT: Haha, I hadn't even thought of that!

It sounds like too much for me. My friend paid $30 for hers off of eBay, and it works just fine. Even got two games with it.
I couldn't say for sure though; my two NESs are hand-me-downs from my brothers. Still freaking awesome though.

You would be correct, seeing as the NES has been out of production for a good 20 years or more...

As for the rest of it, well, his system, from a collectors stand point has really no value, unlike, say an all original 1969 Dodge Charger for a quarter million dollars. (drool).

Sooo, considering the collectors value of those things are ruined, your closet is worth about as much as mine... However, I win b/c I have two closets.

Keep in mind tho, that there are a few NES (and SNES) carts that, even opened, and even some without box or instructions, fetch a pretty penny.
For example, either of the two Zelda carts for the NES with a working battery at this point can snag a decent amount of money, and for the SNES, as I hear told from a few vintage game dealers, the Final Fantasy 3 cart sans box, instructions, can run a good 100-150 bucks!!
