That would be the equivalent of Scrooge McDuck fighting for Capcom's side just because they worked on that Duck Tales game for the NES.

Plus, it wouldn't make sense. Giant Female Purple Android of Apocalypse fighting against puny humans? That would be too crazy, even for this kind of cross-over.

See, this is why I hate (and love) the Super Robot Wars series. They are SRPGs!! They should make a fighting game of it, not a micro-management number cumfest of borrrrrrrrrrrrrrredom.

Not so fast, mah boy. Considering Capcom is planning to port Street Fighter IV to the Wii (and PS2 and DS), I wouldn't doubt that they would do the same for this one, especially when the white machine is selling like tortillas recién horneadas in Japan.

Capcom loves money too much to not realease it. And yeah, SF4 is coming out on all consoles, but from what I can tell, this is apparently a much more graphically taxing games (true 3D models vs Cell shaded-ish models) Though, again, Capcom does love money, so ya never know. Ideally though, I can just import it if it doesnt get a release here.

I think the licencing situation is a little different with this game. Unless JUS and SRW, a lot of of Tatsunoko's properties have been neglected for years, both in and out of Japan, maybe even decades. I know there was the Speed Racer movie and the upcoming Gatchaman movie but I don't know about any other Tatsunoko property having anything done with it lately. I haven't even heard of most of Tatsunoko's stuff.

Plus, with how much money SSBB is making licencers would be insane not to jump on this. I would kind of preferred them to have gone ahead with the Capcom vs Jump game I've seen mentioned today but whatever.

That's exactly the problem. Tatsunoko's properties are forgotten, so they are not something that the public here relishes. The Speed Racer movie is even bombing right now. I see a very small market here for the game, instead of the previous iterations with Marvel, which had the appeal of popular icons well known to the USA.

I'm hoping Capcom goes past that and releases the game here, but I doubt that will happen. Europe is another matter altogether -they are fond of many manga properties of old (just look at the fanbase for old anime in there).
