And what the hell is with cutting the mountain in half, then doing it again with in-game graphics? Other than that doesn't look too bad. I'm curious enough about added content and retranslation that I'll buy it (simply out of curiosity of the FMVs without the PSX loading time).

Chrono Trigger is perhaps the greatest RPG ever.
For its time it had unbeatable graphics. Especially for an RPG. Everything is detailed and laid out perfectly. The storyline and music and gameplay are all perfect.

So they remade the PSX remake of Chrono Trigger?
Meh at this, I can just steal the good version for free. "Fiendlord Magus." Wapantastic.

But... But all the kids are into Naruto, so we gotta Japanify the game for all dem kids. What do you mean "liking anime doesn't always mean you are a Japanophile who wants a direct translation rather than a good one"?

I'm not really seeing where his language is particularly modernized. It's still formal, at least, from what I'm seeing.

To Fifth: the game is a port of the SNES version with added shit and a retranslation. It is not based on the PSX port, but it will have its bestiary and the anime scenes. Thankfully, the cartridge format gets rid off of the horrible loading times of the PSX version.
Fixed that for you. |

While his language may be formal still yet, it feels lacking something with the "thou" and "thy" missing. Maybe it's just me. *Utter fail in olde English |
