Wow, nice interview. I don't think I get to see Colbert out of character enough.

Derrrrrrrrrrrrrp.

The difficulty, and how you know if one of his interviewees knows his stuff, is if Stephen has to break character to win an argument. When the jokes stop and he gets to the point, that's when you know he's taking his opponent seriously. It's kind of neat to see on occasion.

I'm just amazed by how much power the guy has over his audience. He gives out a command, and they do it. Wikipedia locks down articles he talks about because they just get assaulted. The space station would have had their new part named Colbert had they not decided to pull a shenanigan. And Colbert's CD on iTunes jumped from near the bottom to 3rd place on the exact day he told them to buy it to try and beat Kanye West.
Dude's got control.

Too much awesome for such a small space. Oh well. You can still punch your mother...if you want... His book is an inspiration to us all.
I'm not sure what it inspires, but still... I just like how he phrases things. The Wandering God |

We actually have I Am America (And So Can YOU!) in our bathroom here. It has extended my bathroom trips by about 5 minutes.
However, I do think I like Jon Stewart's straight up and direct approach a little more. I feel a lot more comfortable watching the Daily Show, since I don't have to try to digest all the sarcasm and implied things.

Colbert is normally more consistent, seeing as he can just come up with something balls crazy and play with it. Basically, Stewart is the stand-up and Colbert is the improv.
