I think you're missing the point where a woman is all ready effectively raped by the time this thing takes effect as well.

I give you that it's not at all an effective preventative measure, but it appears to be more of a last resort.

Just so i know... about the surgery thing.

Is it for the Rapist trapped or for the woman that uses it?

Because if it's for the rapist, it's bad for the woman. If he is stuck on her and in pain, it's just more likely that he will beat her on blind rage. Also, a lot of rapists wak around with SOME sort of weapon... so, Double Bad.

And if it's for the woman, it's bad for the woman too! Rapists are not mindless drones (in most cases) if they see something like this in his victim, he will just take it of and proceed.

And in any case, even if he can take it off, but forgets and gets trapped anyway he is still much more likely to just beat and/or kill the victim anyway. So, not only this is useless but it can actually makes things worst.
