Pierre's been AWOL for quite some time despite attempts to contact him regarding other issues so we're stuck until he ends up checking his email or something like that.

It's just that plain text smileys have more style in 99.9847 % of all cases
I had to cheat da system to get that smiley in my signature to be displayed as it is. Because you can't actually turn off picture smileys in sigs.

I do enjoy the smiley we have here, though.
It's a good'n.

That's the 0.0153 %
But I think we could probably round it up to 100 %, so that will be 0 % It'll be like doing the impossible. Only it got rounded up, so it doesn't count.

Don't know if I should've just made a new thread for this, but anyways...
Is there a way I can put text and/or text and pictures side by side instead of having them on separate lines? For instance, having the words in my signature next to the picture, instead of having the text below it? It's probably do-able already, I just don't know the proper thingy. Like this: Instead of what it is now? |

Usually it's as simple as just not including a line break after the IMG tag. But yours is a bit of a more complicated example where this won't work so I'd suggest just making a new picture that already includes the text and using that in your sig. Which is more or less how you already showed us how you want it to look, so most of the work's done.

Tried - doesn't seem to look as good, and you can't make out the words.

What, with the exact same image you used above * ? That's odd.
