Looks like, with my Omastar and Arcanine preference, plus the fact that both Ho-Oh and Lugia are in both, I'm going to have to go HeartGold.

Phantom's loving HeartGold so much he's planning on getting SoulSilver and borrowing his ex-girlfriend/best friend's DS so we can trade and junk.

Also, I've officially caught more and more diverse Pokemon from the Pokewalker than from the game. XD

P.S. The Pokewalker, unlike most pedometers, has an accelerometer instead of a mechanical vibration sensor, so instead of shaking it to cheat, you have to just wave it around.

...Why couldn't you have picked up the Cyndaquil and burned all that stood before you? Fire is the only solution, you know. I even made it perfectly clear what would happen to everyone in my game by naming my Cyndaquil Pyromania. It has burned the very stones and the oceans, it has burned every gym leader and every one that dares face me in a rematch. It even freakin' burned Red into a Red-shaped stain on the mountain.

Cyndaquil is actually my favorite; what remains of Johto and Kanto in Soul Silver can attest to that. TyBROsion and I have left a path of destruction and despair from New Bark to Mount Silver. Children cry when I walk to their town, my giant firey whatever-the-hell he is by my side.

But.

Considering my well established disdain for Chikorita, I thought it would be funnier. Think of it as a challange run.

Chickorita is basically the Charmander of the game. It's weak to the first gym and doesn't really have anywhere to shine.


P.S. DO NOT try to use the Pokewalker like a Rare Candy. You miss out on any skills they'd normally learn. Plus, for early levels, it's easy enough to level them up normally.

Also, you'll randomly get Pokemon who join you, so you can pretty easily just run with it.

Also also, you can get some sweet 'mons from battling in the 'walker.
