Just posted. Not sure if the PCs are supposed to be there, but I decided to have Charlotte just drop in with a couple pounds of snark and verbal abuse. She might throw a chair at someone if this doesn't clear up soon, cause she finds this boring.

Renny is not attached to his parents like a parasite.

While very affectionate and caring about his parents, he has lived without them for long durations as a pokemon trainer. And his parents don't control him as he's quite able to make his own choices.

So not a mama's boy by any defination except perhaps the Mr.T defination, which is pretty much about being a person of strong character while still loving ones family.

Yeah, I could edit that post, I suppose. But unfortunately not now. If you had addressed this before I went to bed last night, I could've taken care of this sooner. But now I've gotta go to work.

EDIT 1: One of the things I feel I should point out is that Renny being a hit with the ladies is mostly due to the fact that nobody thinks he's really a man yet. Hell, a lot of the girls more or less either think of him as a kid or as a little brother. He's not the playa that Menarker would like to believe he is.

Hell, I'll go down the list while I have at least a little time:

Lola considers Renny a good friend that she wants to do nice things for and be around. It's a step in the right direction, but that's it. She isn't aware of any possible attraction to the kid, and if she knew she had those feelings, she certainly wouldn't act on them, yet. It's just not appropriate.

Harliette has no romantic interests in Renny whatsoever. He's just too...too...goody-goody. Harliette's most interested in Impact, though it's only a passing interest due to lack of direct interaction.

Rayleen would sooner consider Dormond than Renny. Her professional image (or lack thereof, really) is rather important to her, so she considers herself and Renny as comrades.

Whitney needs more time with the group to develop any kind of feelings. She could actually end up with feelings for either Renny or Matthias if either of them starting working on her.

What it boils down to is that the girls tend to give Renny more attention because he's cute and nice and innocent. You can't get that from you other three dudes. Well, maybe you could, but I haven't really seen it.

Just do something for yourselves and send me some PMs about what you really want to have happen like Menarker does. Get my creative juices going and you'll be surprised with the interesting situations you could end up with.

Yeah, I guess. To an extent.

But here's an argument I should've made a long time ago: when they wanted to join the battle, Renny should've told them to sit the fuck down and shut up. In a nicer way, obviously, but he should've told them. And they would've had to listen. They may look more like a club house, but when shit went to hell, his parents should've trusted that Renny wasn't wasting his time with PATCA and they should've let them deal with it. Y'know, the professionals. They effectively pissed all over Renny's chosen job. And sure, you may say something like "Renny wanted to keep an eye on his parents". But out of our giant dysfunctional PATCA family, Renny's supposed to be the one who's most trusting, so he should've let the others protect his family.

Nevermind that Dominic is a trainer. He was fighting against an enemy he was completely unfamiliar with. And there's such a thing as protocol, and while PATCA may be lax on it, I'm pretty sure involving civilians in their battles makes for a bigass "HELL NO". In fact, hey AB, I demand that Rayleen tear Renny a new one for letting Dominic and Maria fight when you edit your post. She's got a perfectly good reason for it!

Yyyyyeah, you may not want to bring up the subject of Dominic and Maria fighting when Pierce is nearby ingame.

Thanks for promising to edit the post, AB. When you finish work and start working on your post, it's already 1AM in the morning for me. I'll never be able to respond fast to your early morning 3-4AM posts. So I'm content with waiting until later.

I figured that Renny wasn't that much of an actual stud for somewhat the examples listed above (which makes a lot of sense. I was shocked when they would even suggest sharing the same room... but drunkeness does that I guess).

Still, Lola liking him to an extent is nice to know. ^^

Also to answer part of Drac's comment on the parent's involvement, in a situation like that, there was no telling in character how many groups of foes were there. There was actually 3 at the time. (The 3rd being the Light and Dark which merged with the pokebrid group). If they were actually seperated, there could have been hostages. While Renny didn't know that there WAS a 3rd group, he accounted for that possbility. Plus, your "Renny supposed to be trusting argument" goes both ways, in that he trusted Dominic to be able to fend for himself and Maria while they were part of the group.

Of course, it's entirely possible that Rayleen would speak to Renny about protocol or so, aside from the fact that she apolgized heavily to Maria who accepted it easily since she it was she and Dominic who interjected themselves into it. Also, Pierce might hear about it from Shizuka since she was originally supposed to watch over them. Then Renny sent her to the other side as per Geminex/Impact's request. Don't shoot my character down for the actions I take to accomdate your other characters!

More bullshit. We had already moved Shizuka to our side and replaced her with the EEE. Which is more than a fair trade. Then you wanted Dominic and Maria on your side, so the whole point of having a third team went straight out the window.
