I'm still kinda annoyed they rebooted it. I wanted to see Carnage in Spider-Man 4!

After what they did to Venom? Really?
I am disappointed that Dylan Baker will never get to play the Lizard now. I mean, that's the only reason he agreed to play Conners in movies 2 and 3! Waste of time for him, really. It's like Billy Dee Williams playing Harvey Dent!

I am fucking tired of reboots. Just do what Hulk did. The shitty movie happened but you just move on and tie it into the rest of the Marvel Movie Universe.

Incredible Hulk was totally a reboot. It just wasn't another origin story. There were plenty of outright contradictions with Ang Lee's Hulk.
I can't remember if they've said whether this new Spider-Man will be an origin story or not. I'm hoping not, as it's wholly unnecessary at this point.

But people need to know how he gots his powers!
I mean, what is he a mutant, super-soldier? The people have a right to know sir, and to not do an Origin story is outright Censorship! |

Here's how they should solve the origin story thing is to just have Peter acknowledge how he got his powers right at the start and do a quick little flash back. Just like the new Hulk film did and how the Spectacular Spider-Man opened up.
So what are they going to call this one? I hope they end up using "The Spectacular Spider-Man" as the title but I'd settle for "Amazing." |

I'd kinda think they'd go for "Amazing", just to avoid confusion with the recent cartoon.
I remember back before 2 came out, there was talk that it was going to be called "The Amazing Spider-Man", and that 3 would be "Spectacular", and so on. Woulda' been a bit more interesting, but I guess now they can use it to differentiate continuities...
