Dai-Guard is awesome! Ripping your arm off and throwing it at the enemy is the greatest rocket punch ever!

Also. Watched Great Teacher Onizuka(GTO) and Evangelion, both are on my list! Damn you lazy people half reading my list!

Onizuka is the best freaking teacher ever!

You know, I've picked up Desert Punk 8 or 9 times going "Should I get this?" and then putting it down a because I could never decide. Same with Black Lagoon.

GaoGaiGear always reminded me of Voltron when i've looked at it so I haven't actually looked much into it.

Melancohly scared me when you guys talked about it's endless eight episode ring.

Big 0 and Golden Boy I have, just forget em on the list! Same with Kenichi.

Votoms. TOTALLY forgot about that one. Basically they were bipedal tanks instead of robots, and it was really awesome. /m/ demands you watch it in production order, not chronological order, but I've never seen more than the original series so go with whatever >.>

GaoGaiGar is more of the Super Sentai sensibility than Voltron. It is equal parts absurd and over the top awesome.

As for Desert Punk... well... here is a link with some clips for the first episode.

Black Lagoon is dark. Like really dark. The characters are seriously fucked up people. Still the Church of Violence is the best Church ever.

Paranoia Agent. Not an anime to watch while young children are in the room, though. They'll grow up having nightmares about stuffed animals and kids with baseball bats.

Whoops, so it is. Still, Kino no Tabi, and I guess I'll further recommend Haruhi. Watch Haruhi in the order that it aired, not chronological. I have no clue why the DVDs are all in chronological order. The books aren't even in chronological order.

Also, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. Comedy, the episodes are in the right order, the dub is fine. Watch it in any manner you choose.

If you want a series that is without end, Yu Yu Hakusho. Same generation as DBZ. Also makes a good abridged series. Also the Gantz anime was alright.

Also, for action, intrigue and some of the best music I heard, I would recommend Noir

Hell, I got a website here that might be of some use. It's not quite as up to date as it was before, but it still has a good list of shows that you can check out, especially with their "grading scale" which I tend to agree with.
