The average person seems entirely unaware of the shower scenes and closeted homosexuality inherent in it, as well.

I occasionally like to watch women's college volleyball. Does that count?

Towards being homoerotic? Yes and no. Watching women's sports may make other men question your sexuality. However, you are clearly watching women, whereas they spend their time watching sweaty men rub all over each other in various ways, such as tackling.
Oh, wait, you mean towards a knowledge of Top Gun? Yeah, pretty much. Just have a couple of friends over and call each other cool nicknames like "Iceman" and "Maverick" and..."Goose", and you'll recreate the Top Gun experience pretty well. EDIT: Also what's up with women's college volleyball not taking place on a beach in bikinis? This error needs repaired like now.

So at theend of Top Gun Maverick becomes a Top Gun instructor. So in Top Gun 2 will he be instructing a new breed of up and comers like the arrogant pretty boy hiding a terrible secret alongside his straight man copilot and their rivals, the vaguely foreign beefcake and somebody nobody remembers.
I'm guessing new maverick will be Shia Le Bouef. And his name shall be Buckshot. |
