This was really the worst idea until they started doing commentary on top of Jersey Shore.
That said, Beavis and Butthead are really a product of the 90s and that's still kind of where I think they belong.

This was hilarious as hell and it's 2011.
The facts are against you! I knew Butthead would be entirely unaware that you have to reverse the power drill before he proceeded to not do so. I almost busted a gut laughing anyway.

I agree that the Cornholio stuff was pretty lame (except for walking in on the couple naming their baby), but the stuff leading up to it was funny.

Well the cornholio thing was more just an overused joke from within the series they could drop. Didn't necessarily have to do with '90s culture, is what I'm saying. Beavis and Butthead make fun of current cultural trends and so they can easily be adapted to today's crappy shows just as easily as yesterday's crappy music.
As for the shirts they could potentially wear a modern metal band's shirts! Like...Mastodon and...The Sword?
