I want to kick this movie in the face, god damn it's so bad. It wouldn't be so frustrating if my friend hadn't made me see it in theaters.

So we are clear

except when he is in a Marvel movie, then its Samuel L. Jackson playing Nick Fury as a homage to Samuel L. Jackson in a kind of meta casting call

Kevin Sorbo is Hercules as Kevin Sorbo in Kull
Sam Jackson as Nick Fury calling back to Shaft as Sam Jackson playing Nick Fury
edit: I like the fact that Sam's Fury is just much cooler than the old Fury, and has become the expected in-comic Fury.

I hold that the new Nick Fury, having been designed after and for Samuel L. Jackson, is just Jackson in the marvel universe. Like its a separate universe with parallels to ours, yeah? And Samuel L. Jackson was born in that universe too, but his name is Nick Fury instead. He is the same man.

Back to why Frank Miller is terrible
Frank Miller's HOLY TERROR
In which Batman shoots him a bunch of terrorists. I mean Miller calls him the Fixer but it's obviously Batman. It also has Catwoman, James Gordon, and Jewman. Don't remember Jewman? Well here he is: I think this is like Miller making commentary on his own Swastika-tit chick from The Dark Knight Returns but I really can't tell anymore.
