Bah.
That sounds more like a Sony botch job than anything else, given how Capcom can just as easily adapt their games for 3DS.

If you want your MonHun itch scratched, Ragnarok Odyssey is pretty good. Also it is a RO spinoff so it's MH with fucking porings.

But yeah I LOVE the Vita, I've got so many PSX RPGs, plus P4G, plus Zero Escape plus Rayman Origins, plus Gravity Rush. I already feel it's justified itself.

What's the physical size of the vita compared to the psp? Pricing bullshit aside (I'm looking at you proprietary sd card!) the main dissuading factor is the size. I have large manly grippers so handhelds and controllers have a bad history with this skweeb. The psp, and gameboys mind, all give me massive gamer claw hand cramps if held any longer than fifteen minutes.

If comparable in size, or smaller, then Sony gets the Fuck You middle finger and not a thing more from me.

The reason I won't buy this despite being a PSMan is that it's got no UMD port. I've got bunches of UMD's, and it doesn't have anywhere to put them.

Yup, that too. Sony has a sick fascination with the word proprietary.

In terms of screen size and the length of the system, which is what I assume you're getting at here, yeah, I'm guessing it's not the right fit for you. It's definitely longer than a DS.
(Though I'll actually say that with my body type, the Vita feels more natural than the DS, which always felt a tad cramped for my tastes, with my hands too close together.)

If you're talking about weight, though, that absolutely is not an issue with the Vita. I'm shocked with how easy it is to carry and how weightless it feels in my hands. I'm not even sure if it's heavier than my DS -- it probably is, as it logically should be, but I can't really feel a profound difference.

Dang. Not surprised they would stick with a small-ish form factor. Only handheld device that was comfortable for me was the dreamcast's mondo-sized controller. Since then everything has either shrunk or hands kept getting larger. Likely both.

Hell, if it werent for the otterbox case making my phone thicker even it would be a bother. Damn all you tiny handed people and your tiny devices D:<

Actually I just compared to the original PSP and it is significantly bigger. Like 2 cm longer and probably that taller, also thicker and more ergonomically designed. I have giant hands too and it's the most comfortable system I've used (haven't tried a 3DSXL yet though).
