At a half a billion dollars to make, it have every right to be.
Nobody went and saw it for the story. They wanted to see how pretty $500,000,000 looked on the movie screen. |

I'm glad the franchise found its footing. The first movie was passable entertaining bromance driving movie. Everything else was garbage until Fast Five. Fast Five showed that you can safely mix bromance driving with ensemble cast action movie.
It looks like they're sticking to the formula, so that's good. I can't guarantee I'll see this in theaters because this summer is already absolutely nuts, but I will definitely watch it on Blu-Ray release. |

I feel like we're about two, at most three, films away from the Fast and Furious franchise becoming the true successor to Crank 2.
