i suggest using political strategies to slowly take over Australia to use as a vantage point to nukes from without loosing anything if it gets nuked first.

I've started the game and am implementing some of the things you've suggested, but I've also made a list of things you can do. This isn't a complete list, but all I really left out was budget-related. Though you can also criticize and oppress certain parts of the population.
You might have to save the image to your computer to view it properly, sorry.

Some of those are a bit cut off. Glad to see we can indeed assassinate people and get some arms deals rolling.
Also, what exactly does "violence" do? I mean, I know what violence is, but it's a bit vague.

The violence and eroticism actions refer to how much the country tolerates it in the media. For example we could ban violence from movies altogether.

Tried joining the International Criminal Court.
 Oh well, I'm sure we'll convince someone to let us in. Either that, or I'm sure there's a "destroy international organization" mechanic in the game somewhere. Meanwhile, Australia is still on fire!  I know someone wanted to eventually take them over and use them to glass the planet, so I gave them a couple million in aid to combat the wildfires, while at the same time dispatching a covert ops network. In an effort to secure our standing with them, I scheduled a meeting with their prime minister.  Not sure this will be as simple as we thought. But, with that out of the way, and while our other teams get into position in China and Mongolia, I've been informed that our unemployment rate is out of control. I forgot to ask if we should focus on a certain sport to develop, or profession so we can get some jorbs going.
