Sure, its Sci-Fi and crazy, but WWII still ended in 1945, right? It'd be nice for one of the movies to explicitly put the fall of the USSR in like, 2009 or something if it did actually fall later. (If this happened in one of the films i didn't see then I suppose I am satisfied) Cause like, thats not just a historical inaccuracy, that's a RECENT historical inaccuracy. Its not like, misplacing the reign of the Han empire or something, this shit almost happened in my lifetime and DID happen in the lifetime of a large amount of viewers.

Widow did mention to Banner about how she started as a spy at a young age. Maybe the Soviet Union fell a little later in this universe, maybe it didn't, either way does it really matter much?
Even if it fell 5 years later, or hell even 10 at a push, it doesn't affect like, anything else at all.

Wasn't the FSB an immediate successor to the KGB and basically the same exact thing, maybe with slightly less torture and assassination? Maybe that's more what she meant.

I absolutely loved how falcon was already expirienced at what he did, and he actually got to accomplish some stuff unlike a certain other black buddy from a different Marvel franchise.

The Falcon's character was pretty cool but I wish he was introduced in a better way then "Oh this is some dude who Cap was mildly chummy with like twice who is inexplicably devoted to the guy and would break the law on his behalf and is also a super hero btw."

My only issue with Falcon is I could see just from that that he would never hold his own movie, because he's basically a less powerful Iron Man.

Yeah, when they were talking about the wingsuit, and how it was the last one left, I figured they'd be grabbing an Iron Man suit (Because Stark blew the rest up). After that, I just kept mentally comparing him to Ironman, and there was very little that he did that an Iron Man suit wouldn't be better at.

Okay but for all the bitching there were things I liked about this movie. I really appreciated how it actually did contradict the generally pro-military attitude of a lot of other action movies to a degree, and seemed critical of post-911 paranoia/surveillance. The fact that the 'Snarky and collected' dude who subverted the orders and desires of the seemingly ineffectual and obstructive council members was actually the villain was cool too. It called into question and subverted some of the usual tropes/themes of its genre and I thought it was pretty cool in those respects.
