Maybe Dubstep/Ghost. I always thought the Dark type was based on dishonorable tactics and low blows, like kicking dust in your opponent's eyes or hitting below the belt, hence moves like Fake Out and Fake Tears and Fake...Nose? Ghost feels more like attacking with negative emotions like depression and grudges. Except for madness. Attacking with madness is the Ruin way.
...A Dubstep evolution of Whismur...for some reason, I think the name of that Skrillex song Bangarang fits. |

Ugh... having a shitty week all around. And now that I was nearly done working on checking on the types balance thing, AH announces an entirely new type without even checking to see if the others support it. >_<
I'll be on in the morning. Hopefully we can chat then. (I'll also be on Steam if you need to catch hold of me) |

You can always just throw a really good insult at me. Lemme think if I can supply one for you.
*clears throat* Menarker: "How can you be so half-assed and such a complete ass at the same time? You're a contradiction in derogatory terminology!" There. Brilliant. And don't be mean to my Dubstep Pokemon. They wub you. Wub wub wub. Wub wub wub. Last edited by Astral Harmony; 07-29-2014 at 06:37 AM. |

Actually I'm pretty sure Dubstep pokemon are bullshit. They probably gain attack bonuses depending on which part of the soundtrack they attack on, so the smart ones will stall their turns for at least a minute waiting for the drop.

Stop. No more. No more stupid but interesting ideas. You're going to settle for the girl who attacks with internet memes and you're going to like it.

Shiney is truely Master of the Universe.
Anyways, so Renny, Donovan and Hyacinth are all set up, I guess? That just leaves Pierce and Ray and I'll get that done over the next three days while I try to fix some things on my end. EDIT: Just For the Future... The Weapons Graveyard optional quest has been upgraded. You can now acquire a new character there if you have completed the Lost Silver and Strangled Red optional quest chains beforehand. Shiney is truely Master of the Universe. EDIT: Just For the Future... The Weapons Graveyard optional quest has been upgraded. You can now acquire a new character there if you have completed the Lost Silver and Strangled Red optional quest chains beforehand. EDIT 2: Taking a break from working on Renny's post and doing some things for Ray to bring you another exciting edition off... Off the Wall by Astral Harmony Today's Topic: The Elite Five - Astral Harmony: "While it's never expected that someone would be so damn talented that they can actually conquer all eight of Honmyr's Pokemon Gyms, anything with possible with the right amount of preparation. That's why anyone seeking even greater challenges can use rewards from the Pokemon Gyms to locate and challenge the Elite Five." - Irene Crosswald: "And despite what you think, the Elite Five aren't people who are actually known to the players or their characters yet. In other words, while Astral Harmony had previously thought that individuals like myself and Jeanette Ricewood and Spartina would be members of this illustrious group, it was decided, quite recently in fact, to make them original characters that have nothing better to do than to be challenged by those who seek the mightiest challenges imaginable. Well, next to mightiest challenges imaginable. It is possible that at least a couple of these can take on Sexy or even Dinner, so make sure you've got all your death-related paperwork in order before stepping up to some of the finest warriors Honmyr has ever produced." - Astral Harmony: "No hard feelings, right Irene? I mean, you've got enough on your shoulders as is. Anyways, without further ado, let's get into this'n, shall we?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ How To Find the Elite Five When you defeat a Pokemon Gym leader, a piece of strange data is wirelessly uploaded into the badge that you receive from your victory. These pieces of data are actually halves of a map, and with eight badges, that leads to four individual maps in total. When you have two complementary pieces, a map leading to an Elite Champion is then wirelessly transmitted into any Inquiry Visor or Pokedex registered to you. With the badges being registered to you, the devices being registered to you, and even the data being registered to you, it is impossible to copy or transmit this data in a way that would allow one to challenge Elite Champions without having taken on and defeated the gyms first. Not like it matters, anyways. If you can't even conquer a single Pokemon Gym in Honmyr, you have no hope against an Elite Champion. The data fragments that you collect are random regardless of which Gym Leaders you challenge, but you will never get duplicate fragments so challenging all eight will get you your four maps in total regardless. At any rate, once you have a full map, you can then officially challenge the Elite Champion that the map will lead you to. This means that if you're fortunate enough to acquire two halves of the same map from the first two gyms you've defeated, then you can challenge an Elite Champion really early in your gym conquest adventures. Elite Champions cannot be found directly, even with the map. When you enter their general battleground, they will use their Inquiry Visors to scan your devices and badges. If the badge you have is truely registered to you and you are the registered owner of the device that you possess and the two related map data pieces are in that device, then the Elite Champion will finally reveal himself/herself to you. This is a clear indication that you are allowed to face this Elite Champion. But I'm sure you do recall that the title of this Off the Wall topic says Elite Five instead, right? That's because defeating an Elite Champion will reward you with another data fragment. In this case, it's a quarter of another map and you will need all to find the fifth Elite Champion. This means that you can't face Honmyr's greatest Elite Champion unless you've conquered all eight Pokemon Gyms and the first four of the Elite Five. The Archangel Tier Elite Champions Like how angels would protect or do the bidding of gods, the four Elite Champions that must be defeated to begin searching for the fifth one compose the Archangel Tier. L'Zarc the Almighty Tempest - Location: Revealed to be the Summit of Freya Mountain once you collect the two "Perpetual Storm" map pieces. - Type: Dragon / Flying - Classes: Overblade / Deva / Breeder - Specialties: Shock Trooper / Destroyer - Pokeforms: Ho-Oh / Rayquaza / Shaymin (Sky Forme) - Arsenal: Mega Gyarados [Leader] / Mega Aerodactyl [Leader] / Pidgeot / Talonflame / Salamence / Togekiss - Infinity Drive: Azure Maelstrom - Backstory: L'Zarc is an extremely handsome white-haired man who seeks absolute perfection within himself and has sacrificed everything else for it. He does this through ceaseless training everyday at his home, the summit of Freya Mountain, in which those who reach this summit will find a sealed shrine that will only open and reveal L'Zarc's presence to those who have the map pieces. He wields a mighty Assault Saber that he forged himself and has been retweaking ever since, making it a superbly-balanced blade that could easily sell for millions of dollars among collectors. Freya Mountain is renowned for powerful storms, and the blizzard that rages on this mountain deals damage to L'Zarc's enemies and even has a small chance of ejecting them in each round of combat. Through training in these extreme conditions, L'Zarc and his Pokemon are at the prime of their physical being, and will not falter even against the most hardcore opponents. The reason L'Zard has offered to be an Elite Champion is that only through fighting the strongest warriors Honmyr can produce does he feel that his own potential will continue to ascend. Azazea the Black Reaper - Location: Revealed to be the dead center of the Root Cage Marsh once you collect the two "Laughing Skull" map pieces. - Type: Undead / Ghost - Classes: Overblade / Dragoon* / 5 Star* - Specialties: Shock Trooper / Medic - Infinity Drive: Unsung Wrath - Backstory: Originally a war historian, Azazea came to realize that she had an incredible sixth sense. She could hear the anguished voices of the slain and see them. A lot of people believe that she too is dead and has haunted the Root Cage Tree in the Root Cage Marsh, a large, tall tree with roots that begin thirty feet above ground that spread out and bend downward until they finally enter the murky waters. However, Azazea is very much alive and perfectly sane. She has taken to living in the marshes and has become so deeply connected to the spiritual world that she can use her own body's vitae to awaken the dead, which she uses as both soldiers and mounts. This is dangerous since this means she expends her own life force to reanimate necromantic beings, but so far Azazea is still well and fit, although you wouldn't think to believe that given how petite her body is. If you have the map pieces and venture underneath the exposed roots of the Root Marsh Tree, a dark fog builds up rapidly from all around and Azazea presents herself as though rising from the surrounding muck itself. Be mindful of the weight of your Pokemon as heavier Pokemon will suffer some combat penalties from sinking into the soft, drenched soil. Helenuxe the Brine Witch - Location: Revealed to be a small stretch of beach in the far northwestern area of White Wastelands when you collect the two "Frozen Embrace" map pieces. - Type: Ice / Water - Classes: Deva / Grandmaster* / Breeder - Specialties: Shock Trooper / Sniper - Pokeforms: Articuno / Suicune / Kyurem (White Kyurem) - Arsenal: Mega Blastoise [Leader] / Mega Abomasnow [Leader] / Walrein / Mamoswine / Froslass / Seismitoad - Infinity Drive: White Apocalypse - Backstory: Helenuxe was a opera singer that wasn't doing so well in her career, and she believed this to be due to her not knowing how to express her feelings very well. So she put her career on permanent hold and ventured out into Honmyr, never to be seen in real public again. She is a heartbreakingly beautiful woman who wears little more than a thin, semi-translucent white dress. Her hair is a very pale blonde and despite her lack of clothing and near-constant wetness due to seawater exposure, she doesn't seem the slightest bit bothered by the biting winds that must be digging all the way into her bones. When you show up, and you have the map pieces, you will hear Helenuxe's beautiful voice being carried on the winds, beckoning you closer to the edge of the freezing ocean. Helenuxe is typically perched on a rock that juts out of the tides, and will seem to literally walk on water as she steps forward to meet your challenge. Kirkland the Engulfing Dementia - Location: Revealed to be in the Devouring Catacombs psyche ward when you collect the two "Bleeding Eye" map pieces. - Type: Electric / Psychic - Classes: Overblade / Grandmaster / Breeder - Specialties: Shock Trooper / Engineer - Arsenal: Mega Alakazam [Leader] / Mega Ampharos [Leader] / Metagross / Luxray / Reuniclus / Eelektross - Infinity Drive: Ego Purge - Backstory: Nothing is known about Kirkland or can be known, but the few rumors that exist suggest immoral scientific experimentation as the most likely result of his 'condition'. His face and body are covered by an odd combination of thick wrappings and various metal objects like body armor, barbed wire and nails. His presense is able to cause all kinds of frightening phenomena, like distorted ghostly images and other illusions that screw with your senses. These phenomena grow stronger and more realistic the closer you get to Kirkland until he suddenly appears before you himself. Kirkland is able to use his incredible psychic powers to literally turn any situation into his favor. Keeping a stable mind during the fight will help you see that some of his tricks are illusions, preventing you from falling prey to his tricks. The God Tier Elite Champion Ir the Traveler - Location: Revealed to be in the Offlands when you collect all four "Apex" map pieces. Just enter when you have all the data and Ir will randomly appear before you. - Type: N/A - Classes: Overblade / Deva / Grandmaster / Breeder / 5 Star / Deathdealer* - Specialties: Shock Trooper - Pokeforms: Astral Harmony [Strength] / Astral Harmony [Wisdom] / Astral Harmony [Secrecy] - Arsenal: Mega Mandragor [Leader] / Mega Charnibolg [Leader] / Mega Abysslayer [Leader] / Mega Chimaeridyne / Mega Sacregasus / Mega Dullihon - Infinity Drive: Cosmic Ruination - Backstory: Ir is not a registered citizen of Honmyr. There is no data of her on any database in the entire Pokemon World. Given the fact that she is only encountered in the Offlands, it is believed that she is some kind of interdimensional traveler, hence the unofficial title she has been given by those who have challenged her thus far. Ir seems to have no limit when it comes to combat talent, and she is believed to be as beautiful as she is powerful, but she hides nearly her entire body in a skintight armor that is both medievil and futuristic. Only her fiery red hair is exposed. Because the challenge takes place in the Offlands, you can expect the battlefield and the weather to change on the fly. However, it doesn't seem to effect Ir nearly as badly as it usually should. * Dragoon ~ The upgraded title of a Pokemon Rider. * 5 Star ~ The upgraded title of a Troop Master. * Grandmaster ~ The upgraded title of a Pokemonk. * Deathdealer ~ The upgraded title of a Deckmaster. Heh, a transcontinental search for each individual Elite 5, instead of them all being in the same area. That's so unneedlessly complicated. Sounds fun.
Ir is such a rule-breaker though. Having a whole team of Megas where normally a player can only have one Mega. ^^; (At least in the actual games). Then again, she also has so many class levels, it's equally absurd. ---------- Post added at 03:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:57 AM ---------- Also, I thought legendary pokebrid forms were not only incredibly dangerous but illegal and practically unheard of. How did all of these Elite 5s get legendary forms and that detail not become semi-common knowledge without the scientific community gaining the know-how on how to graft legendary forms? |

...Y'know, as opposed as to all the fanfics that I'm sure random immature writers and artists have already created. But to be honest, I think it has something to do with one's destined potential. High level Pokebrids/Devas in PATCA will usually have a legendary form. Anyways, Menarker's post will be up tonight. I dunno what to do about everyone else. |

I'll get a response done this weekend, I've been distracted with some stressful stuff recently so I haven't been able to elaborate on how Donovan will get himself killed in this fight.
