Hopefully I've done this correctly. It's been a while since I've dusted off the old RP muscles, so I've gone with something relatively simple. I did however give her two tokens that combine into one, if that's ok.
Real World: Name: Violet Young Age: 30 Sex: Female Appearance: Short at five feet tall and a little on the chubby side, Violet has black hair and dark brown eyes. She wears her hair up in a messy bun most days with a bandana worn headband style (knot at the top of the head, like a pin up girl) with wisps that fall into her eyes. Her normal clothes consist of jeans and blouses or button up shirts with some stylish sneakers. Backstory: Violet grew up a creative but structured only child. Her mother, a concert violinist, and father, a chemist, nurtured her creativity and gave her the opportunity to pursue her own desires. Violet being an only child and having busy and oftentimes absent parents, found herself alone quite often. She had friends, sure, but when she was home she was left with her own thoughts and feelings more often than not. This has made Violet become slightly standoffish and shy until she gets to know you. Ultimately Violet began visiting the dreamworld early on. As a child, her lucidity was almost none, but her memory of her visits were strong. She would write down what she saw, recreating play doh figments and making up stories for them. As she became older, her lucidity began to increase and she could stay in the world longer, realizing where she was. She began having an affinity for sculpting and modeling, creating sculptures and models of the things she saw in the dreamscape, both the good and the bad. She eventually turned her talent into a career, creating models for science fiction and fantasy movies and creating makeup and prostheses for the actors. She has her own apartment with a studio in it where she still does her first love, sculpting stone and marble. When she began to see the chaos that was brewing in the dream world, and realized how lucid she could truly become, she vowed to try and save her childhood escape. Token: Hammer and chisel set given to her by her parents at the start of her sculpting career. Dream World: Appearance: Same as she does in the waking world, just instead of her normal outfit, she is wearing a faded brown jumpsuit that she always wears when she is sculpting. Also, her face and hands are constantly covered with dust. Token: The chisel and hammer come together and grow to become a large maul with a spiked end. The maul is made of seemingly indestructible materials (obviously it can break from enemy attacks, but it can break stone and metals with a strike). The maul has etchings along it that were engraved by her parents, "Dream big." Type: Vessel Powers: Augmentation. Lugging around a huge maul is not an easy task, so her vessel enhances her strength and agility enough for her to be able to wield the maul with ease. Also, although never having been in a real fight in the real world, her vessel gives her the knowledge and experience to wield it with skill. |
