Final Fantasy 3, now known as 6. I choose this only because it was the first rpg I played and I fell in love with it. Of course Earthbound and Chrono Trigger are very close behind. (: Too bad we won't see any more games of that quality huh?

Mortal Kombat 3: Ultimate.
I loved how they had almost every single person from the MK games all wrapped into one!  Hurrah for Stryker!

It's a tie between Zelda:LttP and Chrono Trigger. Now if my emulator would stop crashing I could finish CT so I could decide between the two.

Between, Zelda, Earthbound, SoM, CT, and Ogre Battle, too many to choose from. (and Mario Kart!)
