Meh, it's Shonen.

If you don't like the main character, then you just have to get used to them.

Shonen main characters don't stay dead long, if they die in the first place. They can be shunted away, but they always find a way back.

Fuck, Goku got killed off 12 or so times and DBZ had easily setup Gohan as a main character once, yet Goku still came back and became the main character again.

If a main character in a Shonen series dies for reals, it's because the series is over.

Ichigo is starting to reach Goku phase. He can't blow up a planet yet, but he's getting there. He also seems to have the Saiyan ability of: Whatever-beats-the-crap-out-of-me-makes-me-stronger

Ichigo more or less is completely unkillable since Urihime is still kicking. If anything she's more likely to die (heroic sacrifice) then him. Besides he's the established main character. The first episode is proof of that. Hell If anything the poor bastard keep getting shafted more then he needs to be. He's practically almost completely useless now. (thanks kubo really, we totally love that the main character is crap compared to just about everyone else 80% of the time/ Sarcasm). Which is why I really hope Ichigo (or Urihime) beats Aizen. Because it would be really sad if the captains (team plot movers) ended up doing it. It's sad enough that they ended up hijacking the show/manga and dumbing down Uryu, Urihime, and Chad down to team cannon fodder. No need to completely kill what was once a decent manga (despite that it's been pretty good so far).

I think Ichigo should most embarrassingly lose to Aizen so Kon can show up and kill Aizen. This will shatter Ichigo forever and he'll be gone for at least 200 or so chapters and no one will ever talk about him until he returns, and then still no one will talk about him and he'll kill himself.

Kon actually doing something since he was created would be pretty awesome. And he would probably be immune to the psychedelic effects of Aizen's sword.

Your hatred of Ichigo kind of amuses me considering how the manga pretty much revolves around him... Seriously why are you reading Bleach at all? You already know that the he's the main. You already know that he's the one to beat Aizen. You already know that at some point he's going to end up same strong as/stronger then everyone else. So why keep reading it?

that is where DBZ ends, but the network reanimated it and allowed it and a follow up series to continue as a sin against the creator

I thought that was the standard operating procedure in the Bleach'verse. Everyone has to explain what their newly unveiled power, especially if the power is an ass-pull, then the explanation takes up an entire page (or more!) with their opponent giving the standard Bleach shocked look in reaction panels.

Kinda like Bond villians all have the genetic defect that causes them to explain their plans to Bond when they think they've captured him.
