Basically. However with anime Kirby, he may eat everything so fast that the Tyranid can't catch up before there's nothing left. Anime Kirby has a huge range, and can maintain a constant vacuum while he's eating. Game Kirby still has the benefit of not having to chew, but he'll be overtaken by the Tyranid pretty quickly.

You see, this is what I would call the only feasible answer. But there are people who disagree, and it boggles my mind. Wrynn is like a less provocative clone of Thrall with nicer features and a bad attitude. He's a badass, but a totally blatant manufactured badass, he's like the Justin Timberlake of WoW characters. Grom is the OG, he shouldn't even be put in the same league as Varian, and the fact that some people go so far as to assume the Varian would actually win the theoretical battle really bakes my noodle.

The only reason Grom never took down Thrall to become Warchief is because he was extremely loyal to Thrall. In one swing, Grom went through Mammoths weapon, armour and into his heart and killed him. Thrall was blocked by a wing. Varian would be lucky to do even that.

The only Horde members that might be able to go toe to toe with Grom would likely be Broxigar (I mean seriously, in terms of badass moments he's the only orc that tops Grom, tanking Sargeras ftw) or, maaaaaybe Saurfang the elder. But that's iffy.

Alliance characters I see giving Grom a run for his money would be Mograine, the Ashbringer (duh) and maybe a well rested Anduin Lothar. (heh, seriously he got ganked by Ogrim Doomhammer) You might make a case for The Lightbringer himself, or Tirion Fordring with the renewed Ashbringer, but Varian is not on this list.

Yeah I'll give you that, I mean if you think about it Malfurion has likely surpassed the power of the demigod that Grom slew when he first imbided the blood of Mannoroth.

You know, I didn't think anyone cared about Varian, he just seemed like a forced in character to me. I actually hated him because it seemed like they wanted this cool ass human to lead the alliance.
