Yeah, but Snarf could actually get shit done on occasion. Orko mostly just screwed up a lot.

Yes, but that shit was ostensibly non-combat, IIRC. I mean, he'd fetch stuff, but if there was fighting to be done, well, a couple of six-year-old kids were better at it than he was. Granted, Orko was the ineffectual one surrounded by capables in his own series, but it probably wouldn't take much to defeat Snarf, to the point where he might just bungle into doing it by accident somehow.

Snarf did get into combat occasionally. Granted he was only marginally useful, but that still makes him marginally more effective than Orko, and this was against guys fifty times his size which Orko is not.

Yeah, but comically dousing himself with paint by mistake while trying to cast Prismatic Spray isn't going to cut it here. Snarf may not be super useful in a battle with the mutants, but his claws aren't going to misfire.

Snarf was only ever cowardly, which wasn't even really cowardly so much as the rest of the Thundercats were incredibly dumb and eh was the only one bright enough to notice, but yeah if you threw him into a corner with one of the beastmen or whatever and no other options he'd scratch some shit up.

Came up with this idea after receiving an email telling me my latest dvd of Stargate is on the way and waching some Sanctuary tonight (while slightly drunk/insane);

Helen Magnus vs. Samantha Carter

Both have access to virtually limitless funds/technological devices and must battle each other with SCIENCE! to the death! Carter may also use military training and Magnus may use Abnormals/magic in this contest.
