It very well could apply. Why on earth should we believe that you are just Nathan Amondson, random guy on the street? You very well could be one of the mafia members who researched this stuff at the beginning of the game (believable since you didn't post until Post #81) and then set your plan into motion by roleclaiming the most innocent role in the game and getting everyone to vote for just a randomly picked person.

Heh I was watching this whole thing from afar thinking "wait... that can't be right..." and turns out I was right! You guys are so trusting that I just.... wanna hug you all... anyways I would unvote and vote Ecurt, but since I was already voting for Ecurt to begin with (like I said, #13 is bad luck!) so all I have to say is I hope we all have learned our lesson.....

You have no reason to believe I'm a regular townie.

Actually, in the first place, the quickest way to figure out if I was lying or not without killing SC to find out his role would have been to kill me. After all, it wasn't like I had said that my role was continuous, and I would have been the safer choice to kill since I would have no other role than to be a townie.

From your side of things, it would be best to kill me to be safe. The fact that I revealed I was lying meant that I'm willing to do outlandish things in a game. Nothing I say afterwards could be taken at face value - not even this.

That said, sorry CC. Looking back, I think I replied too harshly. Truth be told though, I did do it more or less for fun, so a comment like that irked me.

And, Bananarama, super points to you, because you were right even before I posted anything.

You know what? Yeah. For some insanely bizarre reason, I still believe you are Nathan Amondson, and therefore, quite possibly some sort of town (hence why I held off on voting for you). But town or not, that stunt was scummy. At best, you are an extremely untrustworthy vanilla townie. Such a person will unfortunately only hinder the town's progress in the game, so yeah, bye.

However, I'm also just afraid that he WANTS to be killed off -- that's the only way that his actions make any sense to me. I'm not sure what sorts of consequences that could have for the rest of us if that's the case, but somehow, I don't think they could be any worse than that mass confusion going on right now. Argh.

I really don't think Ecurt is mafia, his plan does make a bit of sense. Also, notice that he stopped us from lynching SC, and why would a mafiate do that? Or start this plan at all.

In fact, there is only one other logical option that I can think of. Both he and SC are mafia, thus, no matter which one of them we lynch, we immediately trust the other one.

Either way it's quite clever.

Very good point, and I agree that SC can't completely be taken off the suspicion list. None of this proves SC's innocence or guilt.
