Yeah, chainmail sucks. It's too complex to sketch, but hella easier than drawing super cool armor!
As for what I have, the first is a headshot of a wolf. It was actually inked and finished with charcol. Turned out well, I think. The other is a generic werewolf soldier I played with in Photoshop. Last edited by Bamboozehound; 01-04-2006 at 02:55 AM. |

... I still have nightmares. Bamboozehound, I really like that first one. You did the shading very well. I could never get the hang of charcoal or conte myself. |

These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! There's no choice left.
A photo edit done in Photoshop. I would have cleaned it up more and done a bit more work on it, but I have no tablet, and using the mouse is a bitch. So, yeah.

Sorry, no anime today. I just uploaded some pictures of small assignments I've had to do in art class this semester (I just got to bring them home) I'll just mostly do thumbnails and links, since they aren't refined works, but still interesting, I think. (it goes to show that a lot of work goes into learning art. Unless you are naturally talented (I'm not) T_T heheh)
I like this one a lot. I love drawing realistic eyes, but I've never been really good with ears and noses, but I think I did so fairly well. And here's a study on detail. Feathers are... interesting to draw. Second detail study. Fishy fishy! Those scales were a pain. Contour drawing? Pssh. I do that every day. http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/1041/contour0we.jpg I'm pretty sure almost ANYONE will be able to recognise this image. http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/6...rcleman9sf.jpg Learning how to do transparencies... T_T Candycane! http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/9...ndycane5cx.jpg

And yes, I do have a life! A life of hard work, paying bills & taxes, trying to make everyone happy and just striving to make it through another day of bullshit........ on second thought- it would be better if I didn't have a life! Ignorance is truly bliss:p |

I was at school today and I didn't have to take the finals, so while other people were, I was on the computer, screwing around.
Both of these were inspired by the flash "FMA meets AOL" (there's a link to it in my sig) Attempting a web-cam-y look: And I loved the line "Kiss it, Mustang!" and this post of Armstrong got me thinking so... Yeah, just some sad sad randomness proving that, yes, I have no life.
