I can maybe give you the Hell gods Krylo, if and when they actually enter the universe fully, but everything else, not so much. I think you're mostly still thinking of Old Who Daleks, which as I said, were crappy props, which is why you could just baseball bat them or run away and dodge them. But the current Daleks are an actual credible threat; they like to fly around fairly quickly, several hundred feet up at times, lasering shit by the millions, in forces of millions themselves. In all of this current generation nothing has actually penetrated their armour, even falling into a planets atmosphere and hitting the planet doesn't make a dent. Even touching them can set things on fire.
Their weapons also aren't just simple "make living things dead" lasers, they can be anything they want, from simple death lasers, to "blow up this building" lasers. And if they can't take a planet by direct action, they'll just crack it in half from orbit, or open a black hole, or blow up the sun or whatever, non of this messing around fighting on the surface shit.

Individually, they're largely immune to conventional weapons (including all sorts of futuristic ones, although Rose had a BFG that could take one down), although big enough explosions will sometimes do the trick. Like back in the old series when they still had Stormtrooper syndrome, you still needed missiles or nitro-9 if you wanted to kill a Dalek. Nowadays they have personal force fields too. A lone soldier Dalek of the modern era with next to no power could hack a door that had a billion possible combinations in the space of a few seconds just by super-mathing the combination (all Daleks are geniuses these days). It then downloaded and instantly scanned the entirety of the internet. Their plunger things can crush skulls and mind rape people. They built a ship that could survive The Void, which means the ship itself had to not exist while still being a ship. Their personal death rays have setting that range from "level the building," to "scramble your organs," to "electrocute everyone." They can also fly, travel through time, block time travel, etc etc. Just touching a depowered one caused a man to burst into flames. Picture an army composed of billions of space marines all working in perfect unison that are also next to invincible and have access to godlike technology as well as the knowhow to continually improve it. That's pretty much the modern-era Daleks. And all of this stuff still apparently pales in comparison to the crap that was going on in the Last Great Time War. We only ever get references to what happened, but what we've essentially been told is that things got so much worse than just fighting the Daleks that the Time Lords were willing to blow up the universe in order to escape it.

Those fuckers get shot in the head by rail guns and stop the rails with their skulls, dude. Seriously. They are also genetically engineered to be perfect soldiers. So all that other shit goes with the territory, too.

.... ... .. Dude. Space Marines are BASIC FUCKING GRUNTS of an empire with SO MANY PLANETS that they actually glass their own worlds, because 'fuck it, we have so many it's just EASIER that way'. There are fucking hundreds of billions of space marines, AT LEAST.

40K has an exciting variety of ways to blast shit from orbit, including virus bombs and warheads that do messy things to plate tectonics and cause mass eruption. Or, y'know, just using the lance batteries that come standard issue on the ships to shoot the planet until the oceans boil and the continents melt into fused glass. But since they generally want the planet they're invading, rendering it uninhabitable is rather contrary to their goals, yes? Although Abaddon had a ship called the Planet Killer built because all these options weren't shooty enough. It blows up the entire planet. And you can shoot it at ships as well. ^^ Quote:
They're the elite troops. There's several million of them, but that's still less than the number of worlds the Imperium of Man controls. The poor bloody Imperial Guard get to do most of the dying. But they get amazing tanks!

Ah, power creep. Sort of like Jedi and lightsaber fighting.
That said, the empire isn't any stranger to just glassing planets because they're too lazy to actually fight a ground war either. The problem with a matchup like this is it's simply not possible to easily envision the scope of the Imperium of Man, seeing as they simply have so many worlds that if you destroyed several every couple seconds they wouldn't notice for many, many days. Then we get into epic, and battlefleet, and open up can of worms like Titans and Orbital Bombardment... As much as I really don't like 40K, they simply do 'too big' much too well. Even VN AGI would have trouble destroying the imperium in a reasonable timeframe. Actually Krylo, there's only about 24,000 total space marines, what with chapters only being 1000 strong. That said, the Space Marines are quite overhyped, the Imperial Guard does all the real fighting, and they are far scarier when they are allowed things like Baneblades and Stormswords.

Now, I don't care how many bullets you can stop with your brain matter, but whatever planet you happen to be on is not going to survive the destruction of its nearest star, and neither will you, no matter how good your power armour. Now times those 4 Daleks by a factor of a million. That's a moderately sized fleet. Cue extermination, universe wide. EDIT; Arhra, I was talking physically cracked open, with melee weapons. Krylo was talking about chainsawing them, but if falling through space and time and impacting a planet so hard that you create a fireball that burns for days barely dents you, a quick chainsawing won't either.
