I've got family visiting this weekend, but I might be online on Sunday evening if my sister has downladed the new tf2 updates already.

uuuh i got a 16mb update on TF2, that's ok. But now i'm stuck on a 2,5Gb update on Left 4 Dead 2 ... 2,5Gb? I'm thinking i may have deleted something by mistake, what update is this?
EDIT: oh... here it is... Updates to Left 4 Dead 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include: Left 4 Dead 2 Encore mutation: Last Man On Earth Fixed some missing particle declarations for the Cold Stream campaign The following map fixes are the first of a series of exploit fixes coming. These will appear on the Xbox 360 in a future update. Dark Carnival: The Fairgrounds Survivors can longer get onto the elevated track. Infected players can no longer block the carousel gate. Dark Carnival: The Coaster Survivors can no longer skip the roller coaster crescendo event Survivor can no longer use shortcuts on the roller coaster The Parish: The Park Survivors can no longer skip the bus station crescendo event The Parish: The Cemetery Survivors can no longer skip interiors by jumping over a fence or getting onto rooftops ...2,5Gb? My patch seemed to download pretty fast. I didn't look at the size but usually I would guess it was less than 2.5GB based on how fast it downloaded. But I dunno, my download speeds can be stupidly fast at times (like 3MB/s fast).
Also, when I said I wouldn't be on this weekend, what I really meant was "shouldn't be on, but will probably end up being on since 1)I hate studying for long stretches of time, and 2)I hate studying into the night unless I absolutely have to" |

Ok, so for those playing right now, my steam connection just kicked the bucket randomly. Huh. Well, time to try and figure it out!

I'll be off at a Stag and Doe tonight, whatever that is. So I probably won't be on until late late, if at all.

I plan to be on for a good period of time tonight (10pm-ish?) but since I'm on a shared computer again I don't know how reliable that'll be.
Once I go back home I'll download stuff on my new laptop though, so I should be on much more frequently starting next week. |
