Oh! I like those, Dangerskew! The facial expression on the guy with the knife (whose name I guess I would know if I watched the show) is awesome: easily understood and dynamic. The Corpse Bride drawings are also purty; I like Johnny Depp-Puppet's mouth in the last one.

But yeah, whoo! Go pencil-shading!

Nothin special, some friends and I were having a 'Draw yourself in mspaint' session to kill boredom. This is what I came up with. I miss that sweater...

Slowly making progress on Nazg, sure am taking my sweet sweet time on it.

Thanks! The guy on the right is Buster, and the guy on the left is GOB, his brother. Buster is showed off his army skills by sneaking up on GOB and grabbing him like that.

I see, Skewy. Thanks.

And now, to take the quality down a bit. Here's a sketch I did for _mike. It's supposed to be his Soulknife from the D&D game he and his buddies are playing. After all the crap I went through to get this scanned, I thought I'd share it. EDIT: He made me put a chain shirt! Nit-picky.

Can't go wrong with psionics, nosiree.

I have a psychic warrior/elocator dwarf who has a disinclination to touching the ground. He hovers a foot above the ground and does all sorts of instant movements. His favorite tactic is augmented-dimension door 40' above his enemy, maniphesting a +5 heavy lance and falling down on the enemy. One time he got extremely pissed off and augmented an energy missile (sonic) as much as he could and did a wolloping 112 sonic damage...needless to say the poor fool that was hit by it was did a good job of coloring the entire room's interior a nice crimson color. Barely anything has defense against sonic damage, sonic for the win!

I'm guessing that his Soulknife character isn't high enough to maniphest two soulknives?

If I remember right, they started around level three or so, but I don't know for sure. I'll bring this matter to _mike's attention.

It would be a good idea for him to invest in dual-wielding soulknives via two handed fighting feats. You can do crazy-assed damage later on. At higher levels you'll be able to throw a soulknife for each attack you have.

Now think of it this way: One of those four armed bug men at high level soulknife. Thats, roughly guessing, four to five attacks each arm. Sixteen to twenty ranged attacks in one round. Mechanics can be your best friend or the dm's worst nightmare! If you want more suggestions/talk about psionic character builds feel free to PM me. In my D&D group I'm known for making wacked out novelty builds that are somehow strangely effective in their field of expertise.

But this is deviating too much. Its not bad for a beginning sketch but the colors are a little flat. I'd suggest since you are doing digital coloring to look up tutorials and whatnot.
