Is this the GBA version?

If so, do the Quicksave trick to reset everybody's levels. Then, have Locke with the Valiant Knife, master scroll relic, and growth egg farm the Dinosaurs with the Cactuar esper and max out his speed. Then reset his level again, and do it with every other stat for every character.

Okay, so I took your party suggestions before and tried to do a chapter but kinda had to stop halfway through, and so when I did it the second time I thought I remembered the parties so I did it from memory. Very sorry.

If you wanted, you could use the time to take Loli and Sarda around the world to farm Lores and learn spells. Also, take her to the little patch of desert on the Solitary Island and sketch the undead dragons there.

What are you all talking about? It's all about the esper! Ultima! Unless Kerensky is willing to go through the trouble of getting the paladin's shield. There's plenty of cool swords in the game.

I always got the esper, but that might be because I played back when I was little and never paid attention to any sort of bonuses or whatever that stuff gave you. I didn't even know the espers gave extra level-up things until this LP.

...But yeah, Monday will probably be "Get Ragnarok/Get other Ragnarok/something else", depending on how long each one takes.

Also, I was looking through the thread again (to update the table of contents for the first time in months) and realized that wow, I sure apologize a lot. Kinda like Wesley from that movie Wanted. Except not really.

And @~~Ecurt~~ Truce: I prefer not to use glitches if at all possible. Exploits, sure, but not glitches.

That sounds way too boring and unnecessary for this LP. But I'd still like to know how you do that trick.

Yeah, for whatever reason I always get the esper too, which I guess is why I'm pulling for going the other way. Both the sword and the Paladin shield teach Ultima (and the shield can be equipped to anyone, so it's just as good as the esper) while having both makes the party stronger on the whole, whereas the Ragnarok esper has no level up stat bonuses.

Also, the sword has a chance on hit to cast Ultima as well, so that's pretty nifty.

I was about to mock you by calling you as mr let's-not-play, so yeah.

And there's only one cool sword in the game and that's Atma weapon or Ultima weapon. But the monster is way cooler. Mostly because of the music.
