I first heard about 8-Bit Theatre from a friend of mine a couple of years ago, who told me a little bit about the characters and described a couple of scenes (one of which was WM asking BM for a "non-destructive" use of his magic) but then I thought nothing more of it.
A couple of months ago, however, I was looking at the "References" page of the Homestar Runner Wiki and I found that 8-Bit Theatre used a reference to H*R in it at one point, a picture of Trogdor. So I came to this site and... bingo! I was hooked. |

I walked in and my brother's friend was showing it to him one day, so I read over their shoulders and I LOVED it. My brother stopped reading it a while ago but I am still addicted... and have the fighter and black mage shirts...

A friend directed me to Nuklear Power at the same time as he directed me to Newgrounds ('Twas a day for new things...) roughly Nov-Dec 2001. I think it was around the time just before our mighty Light Warriors entered the Temple of Fiends (Hard to remember, 'twas years ago).
I read the lot up to that point, loved it, but soon forgot about it I couldn't be assed waiting for more comics to come out. Roughly the middle of last year I returned and read up on all I had missed. But I was already a member of several forums at the time and didn't really want to sign up to another. However, now no longer a visitor to said forums, I decided to sign up here. And that's the story of how I lost my deodorant in the small train carriage during my all day trip in the blistering hot summer of '69...

My friend Chris directed me to eight bit long, long ago. I don't actually remember it being that big of a phenomenon at the time. Chris later went on to become our DM. Before long just about everyone in our rpg group was choosing which character best represented them (I was thief, given my propensity with said skill)

An internet friend, who I'm not sure if he goes here himself or not, told me that this was a good comic. I've always liked comics, ever since I first saw VG cats. Oddly enough, the same friend pointed me there as well.

Lets see. I was making a search years ago for some unimportant Final Fantasy subject, and stumbled upon 8-Bit Theatre by accident. I have refused to stray since than. That was over 400 episodes ago. Still enjoy every session. Oh, and Dawn of War is indeed a great game.
