You already dwindled down the argument into "Sonic can hit terra no matter what" so if you take away her ridiculous health and mana pool by being average level at HALFWAY through the game(The end of World of Balance, which is before you get most of the good espers and, likewise, good magic and stats), take away all of her good gear, and most of her access to spells, then yeah, she loses.

I'm not saying she doesn't have the WoR stuff. It's just you can just argue that she's invincible due to vanish.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE *ONLY* SPELL SHE LACKS ACCESS TO IS VANISH. SHE HAS EVERYTHING ELSE. She even has the FF6A spells, if that makes any difference.

You just said he could hit her in Vanish anyhow, why the fuck are you dwelling on that? We just said with all her damn retarded gear + hit points + basically infinite magic + items she could easily tank whatever sonic throws at her while he runs out of rings, because if she can't hurt him and can't vanish + Xzone him, it comes down attrition.

And in a war of attrition, you don't compare to FF characters. Their entire end game strategy against final bosses is massive amounts of attrition.

OK... here's more of a battle of intelligence then.

Tails vs. Eggman vs. Any of the non-playable Cids. Which can design the better following;

Flying transport (They all have - Tornado 2/Eggmobile/ Most Cids have developed an airship.)
Multipurpose machine
Powerful object detector. (to be balanced, it can detect ANY powerful object, up to a maximum of 4.)

Please note you CANNOT use FF4's or FF7's Cids, as they are playable. If there's any I missed in the ones you cannot use, say so.

Why the continual Sonic versus FF? Cid wins- FF wins, they never lose. No matter what the competition FF characters will win. They save the universe from rogue gods while Sonic is rescuing baby animals who have been turned into machines.

I'm giving it to Taylor who was so badass that when he became president he had to die as his corporal form could not contain it.
