Tentacles, claws, paws, and more converge on jeremiahcron, and quickly he is noosed with an all natural forest rope, because you might be monsters but you have pride in your home dagnummit.
As his body swings back and forth in the wind, a small blue slime appears and looks around, uninhibited by Matoya's magic. "Oh, dreadfully sorry, I'm in the wrong game universe...hey, why did you guys kill a vanilla-monster, town aligned...maybe this game's rules are different? Oh well, anybody know where I can find a God-bird? No, ok, I'll just be off then." As you stare in stunned silence you realize that you have killed one of your own, and sullenly return to your homes, hoping that you aren't the next victim of the night. IT IS NOW NIGHT 2. DO NOT POST. SEND IN YOUR NIGHT ROLES IF YOU HAVE THEM. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As the daylight breaks through the thickets and bushes once more, you are relieved to bask in the forest's natural glow, at least until the sleep seeps out of you and you come to grips with the horrific situation presented from the previous Night's dealings. The first body you come across by smell alone, the familiarly awful stench of XTREEM DEW filling your nostrils. Apparently it filled The Wizard Who Did It, as his remains, soaked and acidized as they are, are sitting in the largest pool of the liquid, dripping bone and flesh intermingling with the concoction while not necessarily making it any worse. A few feet from the scene is a book with a 'Twiddy' bookmark, and after picking up the tome bound by the flesh of the insane you discover the title to be Unspeakable Horrors: Or How I Heard the Unpronounceable Names and Succumbed to the Tentacles (Forward by Pat Roberston). Based on the evidence you conclude that he was a cult initiate, cult-aligned. Further down, but no less smelly, is the corpse of secretskull, scoured by Fire and Lit. Before you can begin to search for his alignment you discover the giant message "Here Lies secretskull, vanilla forest monster, town-aligned" written in the juices of his own internal organs. You're actually quite amazed at the mileage you can get from an ordinary brain. Finally you come across a foot sized crater, although the foot seems to be crater sized itself, and a small shriveled body near the toe cavity. The figure of Intern Nin slowly raises himself up, his straw-yellow hat and blue robes tinged with the unsightly visage of toe jam. You soon relaize that he isn't raising himself up willfully, just that the foot fungus that seems to have consumed his enitre being is stiffening. His personal belongings tumble out of his clothes, spell components and knives rolling across the ground, along with a coffee cup proclaiming that he is the "World's #1 Serial Killer". The carnage settled, you begin the Day. IT IS NOW DAY 3. 18 PLAYERS REMAIN. 10 TO LYNCH. NO DEADLINE YET.

Boy, do I feel sheepish.
Well, all we have to go on are the reasons people provided for why they were voting for Jer, and who Twiddy agreed with. It looks like we still have all of our masons, but since Twiddy was an initiate he might have been a mason as well, so we just don't know, and we should probably watch out when trying to draw assumptions based on who he agreed with. Now, I'm going to put the FoS on Mauve and Druidal, because they didn't provide any reasons for their votes, except to get things moving along. However, I will now try to dispel that FoS from Druidal with the statement that We have played mafia together before, in person, and I'm usually correct in my assumptions that people are bad for the town, so he may have simply been following me. I will say, however, that most of my skill in person comes from reading facial expressions and tones of voice, which does not carry over into an internet form, so he would do well to not do things simply because he knows I'm good at the IRL version. On the same note, I'm good at poker IRL, but I can't play worth shit over the internet.

Well, that was... interesting...
Holy shit, that's all I have to say. The vig is having no qualms about killing people... and so far they've been right... we're down to three deaths a night. I'm going to withhold my vote and FoS: Neyo the King. Mestizio was right about jeramiahcron, she may be right about Neyo. However, I'm not going to vote until I hear his side of the story.

the Don in the first night, and the SK in the second night. luck or skill? you decide.
and, well...in all honesty i think everyone voting for Jer knew that he was a civvie, just a dangerous civvie.

I honestly thought he was the SK.
And we don't now whether it's two deaths or three now. For all we know, Twiddy was both cultist and vig. We'll find out tonight based on how many people die I guess. Also, I have this weird hunch that Mest is letting on more than she knows. I'll go along with her anti-neyo campaign if she still holds it, but I'm not going to explain quite yet why I think she's right, as it would be disadvantageous were the mafia to discover this information. Until I see what more people have to say, no vote.

Alright, it's not that hard to figure out, but, I'll post it here anyway, just in case.
"Twiddy", the cult member, was killed by the mafia. The XTREEM Dew practically shouts that. secretskull was killed by the SK, clues being the use of magics. Intern Nin, Black Mage, or SK, all of them will work, was killed by the vig, who is the giant of Giant Forest. Not all that helpful, right? Wrong! Now, we can compare the various killings of the groups and see if we can see a pattern. -------------------------- SK (now dead): sasuto (Stabby death) secretskull (Blasty death) Vig: Silly Kitty (Club O' Doom) Intern Nin (Smell of "'De feet") Mafia: Quig (Invincible furniture defeat) TWWDI (XTREEM death) -------------------------- Hey, Fenris, what exactly do you mean be "my side of the story"? |

So, we still have our PO, our Vig, our Bodyguard, and both Masons, which is a definite bonus for us. Quote:
And then there's Neyo. I'm not quite certain what to make of that situation yet. I think I'm gonna go back an reread the thread before I start throwing any official FOS's around, because, to quote Sheldon Mokes from Death to Smoochy, "If everybody starts pointing fingers, somebody's gonna get poked". I'd like to make sure I'm making an informed decision, so we can poke the right people.

Actually I think Neyo has some pretty good evidence. I don't know why you don't follow Fenris, must just be me. Since I haven't seen this thread in the past couple days I'm going to hold my vote for now.

I understand that I've been acting scummy so far, but, I've already explained my actions, so their's really nothing I can say.
As for my vote, there's really not much to go on, so... no vote from me so far. |
