there'd be a lot of kicking involved too. Might be a moment of drama when Light writes "The Batman" into the deathnote only to be confronted by a pale faced, wide eyed Shinigami who's only reply is "he's the fucking Batman!"

Saturn, KOS MOS, Lina and Lavos pretty much cancel each other out. Lina could potentially be a threat to everyone here, but she's not going to have the chance, so it comes down to Unicron and Giygas. That kind of depends on what version of Unicron you use. If it's the comic version, than this is pretty much an even fight, although Unicron is slightly disadvantaged by his physical form (which was forced on him by Primus for anyone who hasn't read his origin in the G1 comics), whereas Giygas' physical component is just his armour. The Devil's Machine is pretty much invincible, automatically predicting and countering all attacks, without Pokey around to turn it off, but against a being of similar power to Giygas himself, I'm not sure how well that will hold up. I think the matchup could go either way with comic Unicron. Any other version gets toasted.

I think the only way Light stands a chance is if "Batman" is in fact his real name on the basis of that one Batman Beyond episode.

I think a key element is that while Batman is win, you forget he is also ignorant when it comes to magic. If he is following the case he would need to find out about the Death Note, which he would say is impossible. Also the fact you are forgetting the point that should Batman go to Japan as Bruce Wayne, he would let slip he is batman via his mannerisms and Light would jump on that.

Or he would tell Misa to find out Batman's name and then kill him that way.

Also, Light was a total moron who should have been taken down multiple times. He only wasn't because Deus Ex Machina. Like when cop he killed for no good reason's girlfriend randomly decides to tell him her name. After she wasn't going to tell anyone her name.
