Huh? Why can't the mentalist vote for himself in the same way anyone else can if they wanted to? You need to clarify yourself because before you voted for yourself I was sure you weren't scum but this is suspicious.

Hmm I guess that makes sense. It's very odd that you would vote for yourself without even explaining the reasoning first. Plus you still haven't switched your vote back to LoJ

I did not say that the mentalist couldn't, I just said that I can think of no reason for them to do so.

EDIT: Also, I suspect that when one is controlled by the mentalist, there are certain things that one cannot outright say, and that must instead be implied by roundabout means that require that people read into words just a little more.

Yeah I'll take a gamble, sounds reasonable and makes sense with everything else. It also proves that you can't switch your vote unless LoJ wants you to, which is why you are still implicating him and yet you are forced into voting for yourself.

I very much doubt that newb is being mentalist controlled, since vote orders probably wouldn't come through from the mentalist -> Major Blood -> Newb in 6 minutes and I doubt that the mentalist would do something as blatently obvious as having somebody vote for themselves. So either Newb is absolutely convinced LoJ's the mentalist to the point of risking death, this is some sort of plot, or I'm wrong.

Well, since you've thrown that out there (I do believe you, by the way), and since your role guessing seems legendary (even though you were wrong about 42) I'll go with you on this one.
