Okay, my use of "currently" was wrong.

But, if you're saying that WV gave someone else the ring while he was still in the Medium, and eventually got it back before leaving, I will say I think that's unlikely.

I think that he could have used it. Has it been specifically said that you need to a prospitian to use the prospitian royalty's ring? Jack used the white king's scepter.

Thing I still don't understand:

Why'd Bec need to prototype himself to blow up a measly ol' asteroid? How was his plain-old-ordinary non-prototyped omnipotence not enough to handle that situation?

He didn't need to prototype himself to blow up the asteroid.

He needed to prototype himself so that Jade's kernelsprite would be prototyped when she entered the medium.
