Ya'll were milling around in a room when KP walked in and grabbed a P90 then shot himself in the head. In shock you all gather around the body of KP Ba'al: Goa'uld Aligned

Mesden was walking the halls of the SGC just like any other night. Stopping at her room she got an uneasy felling that someone was following her. It passed after a second and she entered her room, which promptly exploded. Awash with light she floated out of the room Mesden Oma Desala: Ascended Being stood revealed. The abilities of the BG role have now changed but no one but Mesden gets to know what that change is and she can't share.

Inbred Chocobo was flying around in his ship when suddenly replicators appeared from out of nowhere. Suddenly a humanoid figure appeared among them and Inbred Chocobo Apophis: Goa'uld Aligned found himself in very hot water as his ship exploded.

Few comments here...

First I just about died laughing at how KP got killed. I mean as a mafiate he just walks into the room we're all in and grabs a gun and just kills himself, that's hilarious.

Second. I guess what happened here is the SK got Inbred Chocobo while the mafia went after Mesden, who isn't dead? and has a new role? Not sure what to make of that whole thing or maybe I'm just confused as to how it all went down. Anyway I think it's interesting that there was a huge bandwagon against IC in the beginning of the game and it just so turns out that he ended up being mafia. There was so much "You shouldn't bandwagon" finger-wagging and quite frankly I thought it was pretty well explained it wasn't a serious vote ever but some people REALLY got protective of it all.

The first person to even mention the bandwagoning being bad was Cephrir in post 17

However it wasn't anything too bad and he was mostly just stating the obvious. It all started to fall in line though on the 3rd page with IC defending himself, then Silly Kitty, Newb, Twiddy, and Mesden following in the defense. Now obviously with IC dead as mafia and Newb dead as cult leader that leads us with Silly Kitty, Twiddy, and Mesden (who OBVIOUSLY isn't a threat unless the BG now has changed into a murderous townie who switched sides; aka not likely at all). So now we're down to Silly Kitty and Twiddy as for who got defensive of the bandwagoning.

Note this may not be going in the right direction, but I think it's at least a good start so FoS: Silly Kitty and Twiddy to hear their defense.

Edit: Also forgot to add FoS: Cephrir for a total of three suspects. Hmm, three mafiates left and three suspects? Coincidence (yes it probably is and I may be shooting in the wrong direction but at least it's a start.)

Hm, hear my defense to what? Stopping a bandwagoning? I would have done it with anyone. Considering it was the first day but it really looked like IC was gonna die. I don't think that is really scummy. *shrugs*

I just didn't want a totally not-thought-out speedlynch. I figured the mafia could take advantage of that situation too easily. Also, I've been against hasty lynches this whole game, not just IC's. Doesn't the night scene confirm Mesden? Well, actually, I guess the role change could make her bad or something. Well, whatever. *Puts Mesden near bottom of scum list*

Edit: I overuse the word 'also'.

I actually think Moogle's suspicious now because of his whole "People who don't like bandwagons are bad."

I don't believe I ever said "People who don't like bandwagons are bad." In the beginning of the game I had given a reason for jumping on the IC bandwagon and even said my vote was likely to change. I am only speculating the possibility that those who jumped to IC's defense could be possible allies of his aka mafiates.

Of course they could be just players who are very anti-bandwagon and that's fine and dandy, we all play the game how we like to. If pointing out that those people defended a mafia member (whether knowing he was OR not) might be a little suspicious turns out to make ME look suspicious well all I can say is something along the lines of "Gee sorry for pointing out facts, I guess that's somehow a scummy tactic."

Thing is, it is a scummy tactic. That's the problem really. Every tactic is a scummy tactic. That's what you have to assume to play this game. Everyone does things that make them look scummy. Just assuming that people who didn't want a seemingly innocent person to die because of one joke vote and a couple of very quick, very odd bandwagon votes, is scummy. They didn't think that so many people should jump to vote for a person so quickly without that person getting to put up his defense.

You fail to mention the largest advocater against the IC bandwagon.

ME. You know, the person who has just been revealed as a townie, went to that aid, you know why? He would've been lynvhed entirely randomly off of a terrible bandwagon that made no sense aside from the fact that they were bandwagoning.

It's a very, very common sentiment to be anti-bandwagon, ESPECIALLY a bandwagon such as one like that on day 1.

This is not to say these people are just clean slated, but I can't see this argument holding anything.

Oh and SCREW YOU TOO MAFIA. =P I was probably a horrible BG anyhow. *Shrug*
